We had a perfect stay at Villa Hedera. The villa was super clean, as was the pool and outside area, and the kitchen was really well equipped, it had everything we needed to easily make meals. The bed upstairs was really comfortable too. The views of the surrounding hills from the pool are beautiful and the location is peaceful. It is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. If driving from the airport, would definitely recommend a stop at Lidl as the villa is fairly remote. We would definitely come back.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Villa Hedera XIV. We're delighted to hear that you had a perfect stay and enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. It's great to know that the villa was clean, well-equipped, and provided everything you needed for comfortable meals. We're glad you found the bed upstairs to be comfortable and enjoyed the stunning views from the pool area.
Your recommendation to stop at Lidl for supplies when driving from the airport is helpful for future guests, as the villa is located in a remote area. We appreciate your feedback and are thrilled to hear that you would choose to come back in the future.
If you have any further comments or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please let us know. We look forward to welcoming you back to Villa Hedera XIV or any of our properties again in the future.
This splendid property is less than a half-hour away from the madness of the crowds at Dubrovnik (and truly a drive that is easy on the eyes!)…but it is a world away in all the positive ways you can imagine. Nestled on a hillside overlooking a rich green valley with impressive peaks around, this property is a a peaceful retreat. Not a criticism of Dubrovnik (which is a beautiful place) but our 13 and 10 year old kids were happy when we rolled back onto the property. Even after an unforgettable 9 hours on a private boat tour (made better because you couple be on the water quicker by using the uncongested local marina), returning to the villa was the highlight of the day. Great restaurants are in the area (there is a seaside resort that boasts a handful of excellent choices along a promenade). The management group was quickly responsive — even when the only question was to explain the the gate to access the property was a manually opened gate (to my defense, the gate was impressive like the rest of the property so I figured it was a fancy automatic gate 😜)…you will be happy you picked this place for you Dalmatian Coast vacation.

Thank you so much for your glowing review! We're thrilled to hear that our property provided you and your family with a tranquil retreat amidst the beauty of the Dalmatian Coast. It's wonderful that you found the location convenient yet peaceful, and enjoyed the stunning views and nearby amenities. Your feedback about the gate gave us a chuckle — we're glad we could clarify! We look forward to hosting you again for another unforgettable vacation experience.
Serenity, peace and oasis of calm - this property looks over the hills and is completely secluded from the next property so it really does feel like you have got away from it all, whilst only being half an hour from Dubrovnik old town.
The house itself was smaller than I was expecting, but it had everything you could possibly need, mod cons and really clean.
The outside area is the winning factor with a lovely pool overlooking the hills, sunbathing area and 2 lovely covered areas for sitting or dining. An added bonus was the 'out house' with BBQ, although a bit odd that it was indoors!
The gardens are well tendered and manucured. This property is just peace personified.
We took the advise of another guest and stopped at Lidl on the way in to stock up on supplies because there really is only small supermarkets dotted about and nothing close by. Around a 10 min drive there is a lovely little bar, but you certainly couldn't walk it unless you are an olympic hiker!
Management were excellent, really engaging and helpful.
Love to come and stay again.

Your review is a true oasis of joy to read! We're thrilled you found our place to be the haven of peace and serenity you described. It sounds like you truly got away from it all, while still being close enough to explore Dubrovnik's old town.
While the house itself might be a bit cozier than expected, we're glad it had everything you needed and was sparkling clean. But we agree, the outside area truly steals the show! The pool, sunbathing area, and covered dining spaces sound like the perfect recipe for relaxation. And yes, the "out house" BBQ is a bit unique, but glad it came in handy!
Thanks for the tip about stocking up at Lidl – we'll definitely recommend that to future guests. And while the nearby bar sounds charming, the Olympic hiker comment made us chuckle!
We're so happy you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back again!
