We were looking for a peaceful location for a much needed break, this property was unique, extremely comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. The host was lovely and so friendly, made us feel very welcome and kindly asked us to help ourselves to some of the lovely apples from the orchard. The local pub, the Boat Inn was so good we ate there both nights we stayed, would highly recommend and would definitely return
My partner and I stayed here for two nights. Sally and Simon were wonderful hosts, made us feel very welcome. The cabin itself was beautiful and peaceful with everything we could want. We will definitely be booking again!

What an absolute hidden gem of a place, so peaceful and quiet, perfectly done so that you feel like your rural camping but with all the little luxuries that you could want, so much land for the dog to explore, and a 5 minute walk from a lovely pub (the boat inn)
The host Sally could not have been more lovely, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and hope to be back again soon!

Lovely serene location with great pub on corner of the road. Great for dogs - they loved the freedom, although Maureen (our naughty JRT) did find a way out through some rabbit holes!

Beautiful cabin in a fantastic location. Sally and her husband are so warm and welcoming and made the whole stay an absolute delight. The cabin itself is cute and cosy and has everything you need. The location is great and has a lovely little pub with great food just a couple of minutes walk away. There are plenty of walks straight from your doorstep. Sally told us to take apples and pears from her orchard and we have just made yummy apple pies with them. So thankyou for that.

We were in the area visiting family nearby and this was a wonderful place to spend the week! The hosts were so helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed the chats we had with them as we ran into each other! It was also a joy to see their friendly dogs around as we left our own back home. The orchard around the cabin was so peaceful and quiet; we saw pheasants, foxes, pigeons, and rabbits (and even an adder in the canal by The Boat Inn!). The bed was comfortable, probably more comfortable than the bed we have at home honestly, and the shower worked very well. We enjoyed having our tea and breakfasts out on the porch each morning. This was a wonderful stay!

Tranquil, secluded, stunning.
If you want peace and tranquility and the added bonus of a large secure area for your dog to run free, then this is the place.
We spent 3 beautiful nights here, each spent by the firepit enjoying the total peace and privacy.
Sally the very friendly host, checked us in with ease and allowed us to enjoy our little holiday.
