About this property

Tranquil collection of privately owned, high quality lodges, nestled on the Cornish & Devon border, just 10 minutes from Bude.

Two double ensuite bedrooms, third bedroom with two bunk beds, fully equipped kitchen, large lounge, dining table and outside decking, patio table and hot tub.
Just 22 lodges on 100 acre site, next to some woods and old saxon fort for walking.

New lodge in 2015, highest specification.
Local cleaner needs at least, 24 hours notice to provide fresh linen and ensure the hot tub is clean water and up to the right temperature.

Perfect for family relaxation, peace and quiet but also a short drive to either Bude for the shops, tidal pool and beaches, or the wide open expanse of Widemouth bay for surfing or dog walking.

Within the park, each lodge has their own parking space with about 10 additional parking spaces near the front reception.

The lodge is privately owned so access is via a key lock, we'll give you the code on booking.

Fantastic lodge

We had a great stay in this lovely lodge in a very peaceful location. Slight hiccup on arrival but this was quickly sorted and didn't spoil our stay at all. The lodge was ideally placed for many local beaches, walks and attractions. Stu was the perfect host and the kids are already asking when we can return! Simply the best holiday 😊

We live in Hampshire and all my life we've enjoyed holidays to Cornwall and Devon. We bought this top of the range lodge in 2015 and we try and stay 4-8 weeks a year during the school holidays with my wife, two daughters and dog.

We let our lodge to friends and family, and recently through Vrbo wit the help of a local cleaner and on site staff.

Why they chose this property

The lodge is one of just 22, all privately owned. The park is a quiet and peaceful, the only sounds are the birds, the stream and local farm life! It's perfectly placed for day trips and adventures around Devon and Cornwall, and lovely to come back to and chill out in the evenings.

With a huge lounge, HDTV and entertainment it's nice to stay in some evenings or keep the teenagers amused on the occasional rainy day.

The hot tub is great to relax in the afternoon and evening if you've spent the way walk, on the beach or walking the many coastal paths and villages.

Fully equipped kitchen, including oven, hob and microwave with a full set of plates and dishes means family meals can be easily prepared or there are dozens of great pubs not to far away serving meals all year round. Sometimes to book ahead in the heights of the summer.

What makes this property unique

The high standard of the lodge makes it feel like a luxury ski chalet and the hot tub under the stars makes it a wonderful place to relax.

Inside the deep standalone bath, and queen size luxury bed increases the chances for a peaceful unwinding break, whilst the teenagers get the space to explore and younger ones enjoy the den that is the inbuilt bunk beds.

Park Wifi is boosted by the lodge's own satellite Wifi, if you need to stay connected but I'd strongly recommend unplugging, switching off and re-charging.
