We are very lucky that our home is set in landscaped garden area with parking for one car.
Downderry is set in a sweeping base from Rane Head to Looe Island.

Downderry Beach is literally a three or four minute walk from our apartment, as you get to the beach you’ve got a choice of entering through a public right of way directly onto the beach or if you go slightly to the left you can access the lovely INN ON THE SHORE a pub restaurant which has a wonderful outlook across the water. Check their details for hours and What’s On, there’s also the CONCH which is a bar restaurant with outdoor seating and it’s only open during the seasonal times of the year.
We have the Downderry Stores , a local convenience shop to access fresh and frozen foods newspapers and a twice-weekly post office, which means you’ve only got a stones throw the walk for provisions. Lastly there’s a little tea bar and coffee house it’s called SUMMINK DIFFERENT which is a vegetarian restaurant and takeaway. Opening hours vary and again this is a seasonal opening.
