The pool and outside area was nice and the kids enjoyed it a lot. My parents felt at home.

I stayed at this villa in July 2023, Sam could not be there physically, but he had his wonderful friends Roel and Sharon welcome us. They provided all the information we requested for dining, activities on the island, hang out spots, etc. And Sam checked in virtually to be sure we were well taken care of.
The villa is certainly not 5 minutes from the airport, however it's worth the drive, it's very clean and secure in a quiet area which is pretty close to some of the more popular areas such as Mambo beach and Jan Thiel.
The beds at the villa deserve a special mention as they are exceptionally comfortable!
We were three adult women staying at this villa with our children. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. Upon check-in, it was obvious that the villa had not been properly cleaned. There was dust everywhere, and the pool had debris floating in it.
On the second day, things took a concerning turn. A man suddenly showed up at the villa, claiming he was there to clean the pool. We were caught completely off guard, as the owner had not informed us that anyone would be coming. This made us feel unsafe and unsure whether we could trust him. He left shortly after arriving, saying he wouldn’t clean the pool because the kids were swimming.
Earlier that same day, we received a message from the owner saying that the children were making too much noise. As a parent, I can say the kids were simply playing in the pool — no yelling, just normal play. Still, we told them to swim quietly, which felt unfair. It’s unrealistic to expect children to behave like silent adults while enjoying a pool on holiday.
What made it even more frustrating was that later that night, the same neighbor who had complained was blasting loud music, yelling, and laughing well into the evening. We didn’t complain, because we understand people are on holiday and want to have fun — but clearly, this courtesy wasn’t extended to us.
Overall, the villa was poorly maintained, communication was lacking, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We won’t be returning.
