The Wyndham Bali Hai Villas Resort is located on the beautiful North Shore of Kauai. This prime area is close to world-renowned beaches, hiking, shopping, golf courses, snorkeling, day spas, live entertainment and fine dining. Gorgeous Hanalei Bay is just a five-minute drive away and Princeville Shopping Center is nearby. The resort now offers Air Conditioning on a daily use fee. It's optional, for days you feel like you'd like to use it.

Enjoy a relaxing home away from home after days of adventure on Kauai. All units have washers/dryers, fully-equipped kitchens with everything needed to cook -- utensils, dishes, pots, pans, full-size stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, blender. An amazing oasis to return to while vacationing on this beautiful island, Bali Hai condos are spacious and comfortable.

Since all Wyndham resorts use floating inventory, the units are not assigned to a guest until shortly before arrival. The photos in this listing are representative of the unit type as they are mostly uniform, but not necessarily the exact unit you will be in. Bali Hai has completed a full renovation at the time of making and updating these listings in August 2024.

The resort is fully staffed and provides a relaxed atmosphere for you to enjoy your Kauai Vacation. Concierge service is available and maintenance and housekeeping are on site. Attending a timeshare presentation is not required. Linens and towels (including beach towels) are provided, as well as some dish soap, paper towels, coffee, laundry soap, etc.. There are also coolers provided in each unit.

Guests will have access to all resort amenities. Air conditioning is the only amenity which is optional and is available for $20/day.

The front desk staff is available 24/7. Please don't hesitate to call the front desk regarding any maintenance issues to report or to request more supplies like towels, coffee, laundry soap, etc. We are available by phone and email 7:30 am - 4:30 pm daily

Other Resort Information and Policy

• Primary renter must be at least 21 years old.
• All reservations are subject to Hawaii Timeshare Occupancy Tax (TOT), which is approximately $18/night.
• Air conditioning is available for a daily fee of $20/night.
• A $250 security deposit is required when checking in, this will be released upon check out minus the TOT and A/C fee if you opt-in.
• The name on the reservation must match the name of the first person checking in to avoid issues.
• The named guest on the reservation must not have more than one reservation within the same booked dates.
• Maximum occupancy is set by the resort and must be followed due to fire safety.
• Pets are not permitted. A service animal trained to perform special tasks is permitted. 
• Resort Stay LCC is not responsible for severe weather or power outages. Guests are welcome to purchase travel insurance.
• Reservations are transferable for $99.

Amazing Vacation

This was our first time to any of the Hawaiian Islands and we are glad we picked Kauai. We rented a car and went on adventures every day and still had time to relax in the pool and hot tub at the end of each day. Our 2 bedroom unit was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed and we were glad for the use of the BBQs. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Phenomenal family property. Just make sure when they send you to the concierge after checking in, that you are very clear to let them know that you are not interested in a timeshare and to please avoid calling you for the "8:00AM morning coffee". Especially if you have jetlag kids.

Check in was a disappointment. We were there at 4pm and had to wait over an hour to check in to our room. They said it was not ready yet. I asked for a late check out and was denied, even after I explained what happened at check in. Great property, facilities and staff. Unfortunately it is all overpowered by the chickens. While they are cute at first glance their non stop crowing throughout the night makes for a major nuisance. Ear plugs and shut doors only helped a little.

To the point, this was a time share.

This is a Wyndham timeshare. Had I read and looked closely it would been fairly obvious. No problem, any issues, bring them up to the resort. If you are looking to rent a place in a time share, there are multiple other options which may save you various fees and ultimately would save $$ and give you the same experience. Over-all a nice two bedroom unit at a property aimed at the middle ground for time share owners. Nice pools and all guests can use all of the facilities. Princeville is predominately timeshares with some single family homes near the cliffs.

Five adults, all busy lives-This place was the perfect place to unwind and spread out. I’d definitely say basic and that is all we needed. Clean, clean, clean!!!! Plenty of parking & quiet. The landscaping and grounds were beautiful. From the dolphin sculpture to the pool! The unit entrances were private from the other units. The back patio was perfect for coffee or a game of cards. Close to shopping, grocery store, restaurants and gas-but not on top of you. Only negative was that you had to drive to beaches. Short drives, but a drive none the less. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Each person in our party was happy with the unit!

I paid $291.98 In lodging tax fees. to VRBO. I received an email that shows additional taxes of $116.48. an upcharge I am going to dispute. You need to clearly identify your upcharges before the rexervation is made. That goes for the extra fee for air conditioner use. Shame on you.

Comfy Stay on the North Shore

This was a comfortable, pleasant condominium with all the essentials for making a vacation stay enjoyable. The people at the clubhouse were especially helpful with suggesting and setting up activities that worked for us, even though we had an immense amount of rain during our February week! We never did figure out how to get the t.v. in the living room and one of the bedrooms to work (no signal), but we were not there to watch t.v., so this was not a major concern. The floors looked clean but seemed very sticky, thus the 4 stars rather than 5. We loved the pool and the hot tub on the grounds, and the jewelry-making class was especially fun on a rainy day. We also enjoyed the entertainment on the covered porch, where free mai-tais were offered to all audience members one evening. We would recommend the place for those looking to explore the north shore and having a home base from which to do so.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The property was beautiful. The pools were nice, the staff attentive, parking was easy, the location excellent. Then apartment was quite nice, well furnished, and comfortable. There only two things we weren't happy about, one minor, one major. The minor thing was that there were no printed instructions about how to use the TV/Stereo cable system. Eventually, we gave up, because we weren't there to watch TV. The major thing was the stockinhg of the kitchen. We have stayed in many apartments and homes in Hawaii over the years, and we have not had this happen. The kitchen basically came with a set of dishes, a few pots, a few pans, and some tools. That was it. One serving platter. We had to buy sugar, salt, pepper, plastic wrap, tin foil, and just about everything else that one might expect to find in a kitchen. No dish drainer. We eventually figured out that two rubber pads were supposed to be pot holders. No trivets to hold hot dishes. two small cutting boards. We were provided with a little bit of dish detergent, a couple of packets of dishwasher detergent, and a few coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent; we were instructed to ask for more when we needed them. Not a big deal, but also, why not just provide an adequacy of it all? A big part of our stays in Hawaii has been enjoying eating "at home". Because of the lack of utensils and pots, cooking was difficult, as was serving food. The stove worked, but barely. "Broil" was not something the stove understood; pre-heating the oven took 40 minutes. The dishwasher would constantly turn itself off, until we eventually figured out it worked only on one setting. It wasn't a truly big deal, but it also detracted from our stay. Other than this, it was all good.

Noisy. Our unit had our bedroom next to the pool and only shutters to keep out the noise. People in the pool area were loud enough to disrupt our sleep and rest at night and early mornings. The bed itsef was lovely. The pool equipment (huge metal boxes just off the lanai) were loudly running all the time making the lanai unusable. We had to keep the door to the living room closed at all times due to that noise.The entrance faced the area of the food trucks. There was always commotion and people coming and going and visiting and hanging out. We did not have a peaceful, romantic stay that we had so hoped for. The sofa was uncomfortable. The blender cheap and useless. The pools were gorgeous, but crowded and busy.We were very disappointed. I would have tried to change places if I thought that was a possibility. I figured everything was booked. Nice area, but not a nice unit.

Very nice place. Of course there are the ever present chickens making noise and there was another intermittent noise at night that the Wyndam could not explain. Could have been a pump for the pond. They should look into it.

We had a wonderful time here - the main perks are getting to enjoy all of the pools and clubhouses from the Wyndham which is a HUGE perk and loved that - great location and easy check in and check out - good communication from owner as well so thank you! Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it’s a little bit of a noisy location with the tennis courts right below and the food trucks which turn their engines on at 6am so you don’t get true quiet out on the balcony. Master bathroom tub also needs some TLC and isn’t draining properly but that’s an easy fix! Would recommend staying here for sure, thank you for another magical visit to Kauai our favorite island
