Porch Light Hospitality presents, The Farmhouse- a completely renovated and modernized 1930’s craftsman style home, located on a family-owned homestead in Fredericksburg, Tx.

One of five unique and private guesthouses that make up “The Gathering Guesthouses,” the Farmhouse is on the edge of town away from the hustle of Main Street , but only a short 5 minute drive to Main Street and offers an expansive outdoor entertainment area for guests to enjoy.

The Space:
Master Bedroom: King sized bed with high-end linens, reading chair, TV with Roku, private on-suite with walk-in shower, double vanity, bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, hair dryer).

Bedrooms 2 and 3 (downstairs, each sleeps 2): King sized beds with high-end linens, reading chairs, shared bathroom with shower/tub combo, bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, hair dryer).

Bedroom 4 (upstairs, sleeps 2-4): King sized bed with high-end linens, queen sized pull-out tempurpedic sofa bed, optional privacy curtain between sleeping spaces, TV with Roku, bathroom with walk-in shower, bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, hair dryer).

Kitchen/Dining: Full-size with gas stovetop, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, pantry, cooking ware, dining ware for 10, coffee-maker with complimentary local grounds, Keurig (bring your own pods). Dining table for 10.

Living Areas: Foyer with sectional sofa and reading chair, main living/family room with sectional sofa, reading chair, banquette, gas fireplace, TV with Roku, double french door access to outdoor entertainment space.

Outdoor Entertainment Area: Wrap-around porch with seating and dining table for 6, Freeform swimming pool with grotto waterfall, fireplace with attached charcoal/wood custom BBQ pit, lounge/poolside seating, direct gate access to game-friendly field.

Outdoor Kitchen: Large gas grille, prep and serving countertop space, sink, full-size refrigerator, sectional sofa, dining table for 10, pool bathroom with shower.

Other Utilities: Access to the clothes washer and dryer is available upon request.

Annual Sibling wine trip

Great place private, no one behind can rent all 5 houses and all gather at this pool house patio and bar area. The house had double key deadbolts which is in violation of the national fire code as you are locked in without the key in the lock. There were 2 doors so it is impossible to have a key in both as we only had one. They said they would notify the owner when i informed them of the safety issue and violation. This violates fire code and must be fixed. IT may or may not be the same on the other 4 houses. minor issue nice to have makeup mirrors but the bad blues led light upstairs was so lo and off color could not see in the mirror. The hall bath top of sink is i guess about 52 plus inches and my sister at 5ft 2 could not wash her face as it was too high, highest. other wise the place was nice and in good condition... we stay at many VRBOS a year.

This property was a wonderful place for our family to be together for Christmas. It provided us with private and all-together spaces. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable! 5 stars!

Great stay!

This was a great place for a group of 30-something friends to get together. Just outside of town, so it’s quite but easy access to Main St.

6 day visit at the farmhouse property

This property was amazing. The pool was awesome, especially with the extreme heat. The ac is the house worked perfectly. The pool house especially with the full bathroom is perfect when getting out of the pool. The management was absolutely wonderful to deal with.
