One of the main locations for the filming of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, the natural beauty in the area is outstanding. In Sami you'll find many shops, bars and inviting restaurants overlooking the water. Closer still is the seaside village of Karavomlylos, just 15 minutes’ walk away. The village has a few tavernas, one right on the sea edge, a couple of cafes, a bakery and a pebble beach. A great base for exploring, you can also easily visit enticing sites such as the incredible beaches of Myrtos and Antisamos.Please note:
