When I was a child I used to see out the window, the Rock in the sea and the ships passing on the horizon line. I returned to my village, when I graduated as a Civil Engineer,
to survey the Rock that my childhood eyes once measured. The feeling was unique. The gaze was reversed, the sea, the sky, the sun, the shores, the surrounding hills, the mountains. Was there the refuge of my soul? To calm down, to retreat and to sail the seas.
