After the nature reserve there is then the green bay beach, with sunbeds, bars, beach volleyball courts, etc. To the south instead, about 10 minutes by car, there is the beach of Torre San Giovanni, Marina di Ugento, and further on Pesculuse etc. (12 km of sandy beaches).
