Fregene is a bustling family oriented seaside town in July and August, much quieter in June and September. The rest of the year you almost have the place to yourself but most services continue to function. In addition to the beach, a lovely pine forest is available for a peaceful stroll. If you are up to soak some culture, Rome, the eternal city, is only some 40 minutes away, and Ostia Antica, the ancient Roman harbor city, less than 20 minutes. Etruscan medieval towns are less than one hour drive away.

My villa is located strategically smack in the middle of Fregene, a few steps away from all facilities (restaurants, minimarket, butcher, fishmonger, ice cream, breakfast bar etc) and less than 5 minutes walk from the waterfront.
