Magical Rome experience

A beautiful villa in a beautiful location with magnificent gardens, great modern facilities and a fantastic overall experience. Soren is an amazing host and his house is very well equipped for two families. Its location feels very rural but only 20 mins to the parking garage in Vatican City and the drive is magnificent.

Magical Home and Even Better Hosts

This house was amazing and the hospitality was even better. Our family messed up the travel dates and they were able to accommodate with a last minute notice. The home was also not only lovely but very clean. You can tell the house was loved. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful villa. I agree with a previous post that said the photos do not do it justice, they do not it’s far better than shown. This is not a holiday villa it’s a home and as a result you relax straight away. It really is ‘lived in.i highly recommend this villa for your Rome holiday one big recommendation use Uber it really worked for us.

Great stay in Rome

We booked this property whilst we were in Rome for The Ryder Cup . Soren the host was very helpful from day one including booking taxis for us throughout our 5 days as taxis during this time were difficult to book . Also the Villa and the pool were ideal to relax at and as the last of our group to leave had a baby he arranged a late checkout as their flight was later than the main party . The Villa is 30 min taxi from centre of Rome in a nice location with lovely grounds .

Expectations exceeded

I had high expectations after reading the description of this beautiful Roman Villa and anticipated that reality would bring me down to earth. Instead those expectations were exceeded. The whole family enjoyed the expansive villa, the swimming pool, and even the trampoline and ping pong table. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful Villa and the most wonderful host

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. Had every amenity that we could need or want. Soren was very helpful, great communication. Always responded quickly to answer any questions before our stay and was in touch to see how we were doing during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The best host ever! The villa is in a great neighborhood, very quiet and relaxing with beautiful grounds and pool and also easy to get to the busier city centre - very convenient. Perfect for our family of 8, we had so much space. We had a wonderful vacation and would love to stay here again!!

Amazing villa outside central Rome

We loved our stay. The outdoor space is perfect with kids as the pool and trampoline are very nice. The inside is eclectic and nicely done. Lots of smart tvs. Plenty of ac in every room. The only issue is taxis. This is a Rome issue in general. Sometimes it would take 45 minutes to get a van to accept our ride. We will love to stay here again. I would say it’s perfect for a family that wants space and a pool to cool off in Roman heat.

Magnificent is right, it’s absolutely magnificent

We stayed at the villa for a week in April 2024. The villa is huge, very well maintained and appointed, private, quiet and secure. All round this is probably the best villa we have stayed in on over 40 trips around the world. It’s got everything you need and the description is an accurate reflection of the rooms, the facilities and the extras you need. The host was superb, we needed a few things for a toddler and he obtained them for us. He was great at responding to messages and helping us. All round superb, could not recommend highly enoigh

Better than the pictures

The grounds were so lovely. The great room was larger than imagined. The gate was not working once and my son had to scale the fence but at that time, we may may not have known about the back gate. It is really best to have a car. The Uber drivers did find us, but the distance for groceries was a bit too far for grandma. Unfortunately, we were not here in the warmer weather To totally the pool etc.

Serenity in a Bustling City

Villa Hygge was perfect. Our large group aged 9 months to 69 years old couldn’t have found a better place to stay while in Rome. It was definitely an Oasis tucked about from the city chaos. Rome was sweltering so we were so thankful to have air conditioning that worked very well. Also, our host, Soren helped with many details to make the trip successful and his generosity and hospitality will be memorable forever. He helped to arrange some of our rides to and from the villa. With a group of 9, it definitely required a little bit of planning. He also arranged an in villa dinner with a local chef which was delicious, special, and convenient for our group. The grounds and neighborhood of the villa make you feel like you aren’t even in Rome! It’s a little bit of journey to the main sites, but it was worth it for us! We were all very sad to leave the villa behind.

The host handled the check in very smoothly despite the challenges we guests posed when the party of 8 traveling together had their flight canceled and were subsequently rebooked at two different times, leading to the host doing one checkin as planned and his wife graciously completing the checkin process the next next day. Both provided entry to the property and an orientation to the beautiful villa.The kitchen was fully stocked including a French press. The only problem we faced was the microwave/oven did not warm items as quickly as we expected. On the other hand, when we enjoyed a cooking class at the Villa the kitchen space worked wonderfully. With respect to the cooking class, our host Soren found a delightful chef Francesca whose good cheer and skills helped create a memorable typical Roman meal.

Fantastic villa, amazing garden, loveley host.

This place is just amazing! The house is beutiful situated just outside the town center, it is furnished beautiful and elegant, and is very well equipped. Big, lovely rooms, five baths and really a lot of space, and we were 12 persons from the age of 17-59. It was also very clean, indoors and outdoors. And the garden...its just amazing. Pool, pingpong, trampoline and lovely trees, flowers and patios. Our smile went all around the head every morning, after sleeping so well in this almost supprisingly quiet area, and then drinking coffee near the pool every morning, accompagnied by the lovely singing of colorful birds. The host Soren (and his wife) was very friendly and polite. We would really recommand this villa to everyone, and hope we have the opportunity to rent this place next time in Rome.

Perfect Roma Villa

My wife and some of our kids recently stayed at Soren’s place after a week long wedding celebration in Tuscany. Let me just say this place covers it all! Clean, perfect location, awesome pool, comfortable beds, tons of extra amenities, and plenty to do during downtime hours while you’re not out seeing all that Rome has to offer. Communication from the host was amazing! The location was a huge draw for us as we were looking for something that wouldn’t break the bank when we wanted to travel into the city. This place is barely 20 mins out and taxi rides were very reasonable. We also had a small request with scheduling and actually left a valuable item behind and Soren was extremely accommodating. He really does go above and beyond to take care of his guests. Many reviews mention this. So don’t hesitate…just book it! You won’t be disappointed!!!
