About this property
Idyllic, peaceful cottage with wood burner
Relax, unwind and get away from it all at this peaceful cottage. Enjoy a rest with your family, and friends. Suitable for 2 couples, or couples with children.
Taddington is a beautiful, un-spoilt, rural village in the perfect location; with Bakewell, Chatsworth, Monsal Trail and Castleton nearby. The local public house is only a few steps away.
I also host an additional Cozy Cottage in Tideswell if you are travelling with additional friends or family.
The space
Beautiful, traditional, 300 year old, spacious 2 bedroomed cottage.
Front stable door, opens directly into fully beamed lounge with comfortable seating, wood burner & TV. Dinning room with table and chairs, pine dresser and feature fireplace.
Open stairs to bedrooms and bathroom.
Country style kitchen area, with oven, microwave and kitchen utensils. Separate stone bricked utility room with side door access, coffee maker, fridge and freezer.
Upstairs an extra large double bedroom with feature beam and wooden floorboards, chill out seating, wardrobe, chest of drawers & TV. Twin bedroom with 2 single beds, full length mirror, travel cot bed and wardrobe. Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet, mirror, heated towel rail and storage area.
Open front shingled area is un-fenced, suitable for dogs to roam, complete with outside seating area with hillside views. (It is a public footpath, is kept accessible.) There is no rear garden to the property.
Guest access
Guests have access to all areas.
Other things to note
Parking is roadside, not on the public footpath at the front of the cottage. Parking is not reserved, but there is plenty of availability. (Just be considerate to our neighbours by not blocking driveways)
