A great stay, very good location, nice property
A nice and modern property with very good facilities. Ideal location for us being only 2 miles from Bakewell and no more than 30 minutes from most of the popular locations within the Peak District. The property is nice and warm, clean and comfortable. Really comfortable and large double bed and very good twin room ideal for children. Nice bathroom with a good shower and bath. Overall, very good property and would highly recommend.
LOVELY, COMFORTABLE STAY
Very much enjoyed our week's stay in this lovely cottage. Enjoyed the local walks and dinner at the Lathkill Inn plus how easy it was to get to all the Peak District sights. Feel we've really had a relaxing break. Thank you!
Hi Stuart Melanie and Co
Very pleased you had a relaxing break and Sadies was to you liking
There are great walks from the door and beyond
Hopefully you will return in the future, you will be warmly welcomed
Really happy we “found” your wonderful Over Haddon cottage! It stood out from the outset, and the reality didn’t disappoint in any way.
Such a pretty, cosy and beautifully situated place- we both said we could more than happily live there!
We would love to come and stay again in the future - thank you so much to Sally and the team.
Thanks so much Anne & Mike,
Really pleased you felt so at home and enjoyed your time at Sadies and beyond
Love that you want to stay again, you will be very warmly welcomed when you next visit
We had a lovely short break at this cosy cottage. It was warm comfortable and very well equipped. The owner has made it very welcoming. It is in a very good location for exploring this part of Derbyshire and Bakewell is right on the doorstep to Over Haddon. The pub in the village has excellent local ale and good pub food.
Thanks Amanda for your lovely comments pleased Sadies and area was to your liking hopefully see in the future to continue the enjoyment
would have liked a welcome pack but otherwise fine
Nice place, not quite ‘luxury’
A lovely little cottage, very clean and in a good location. Not sure about the ‘luxury’ description though. Lacking basic provisions in kitchen, e.g. cooking oil, dried herbs, condiments, there was literally nothing. Also many cottages now provide a welcome pack, with milk, bread etc, and even extras such as a cake, wine, and so on. Again, this had nothing at all, wasn’t particularly welcoming. So, a bit disappointing on that level, would have expected some extra touches for the price to be honest!
Thankyou for your comments Katherine
Pleased you liked the cottage and area,
Regards provisions they have a shelf life and in the past rarely got used, because of a variety of food choices allergies ect, i tend to now stick to the basics it seems to work, but many thanks for visiting
2 miles from Bakewell
200 yards from a popular dining pub
