Lunch ideas Gocek is a great lunch stop, just 15-20 minutes from the airport en route to Kalkan. The entrance to Gocek is on the right approx. 3.5 km after exiting the Gocek tunnel. Recommended toilet breaks There are many petrol stations en route – we recommend the OPET stations at 44.7km and 85.7km. Nearest town/village Kalkan Shopping Kalkan has a number of supermarkets, greengrocers and butchers – from the traffic lights at the entrance to Kalkan turn right to find Migros and Anka on the right. In most cases your paperwork will be prefilled with passport and driving licence details to speed the process of car collection. From Dalaman Airport - estimated journey time 1 hour 45 minutes We suggest that before you set off, you acquaint yourselves with the way your odometer works. In most cars to reset you need to press the button on the end of the indicator and hold until the reading flashes for some time and then becomes zero. If you have requested any booster or child seats, please ensure you check the fittings before you set off. Please take care driving along these roads and remember to drive on the right! The speed limits are signposted along the way. Step 1 Leave the car park and follow the road to the manned security exit. Step 2 Follow the dual carriageway ahead for 5.9km (5.9km) until you reach a set of traffic lights, take the second exit. This is the town of Dalaman. Step 3 Continue for 5.2km (11.1km) passing through 3 more sets of traffic lights. At the 4th set of lights turn right towards Fethiye, Kaş, Antalya and Burdur. You are now on the D400. Step 4 After 9.6km (20.7km) you will reach the Gocek tunnel. Take the road straight ahead under the sign ‘Nakit Ucretli Gecis’. The toll can be paid in cash or via contactless card. Step 5 Follow the D400 for a further 52.3km (73km), approx. 45 minutes, passing the edge of Gocek, Yaniklar, Kargi and Fethiye. As you approach the junction ahead you will see Finike, Demre and Kas signposted to the right. Take this right turn, continuing on the D400. Step 6 Continue on the D400 for a further 56.3km (129.3km) until you arrive at the set of traffic lights shortly after the blue Kalkan sign on the right. Step 7 Continue ahead passing under 2 footbridges. After 2.1km (131.4km), just past an overhead flashing light, turn right at the Patara Prince Resort sign. This junction is narrow and can be easily missed, slow down before turning. Step 8 Follow the road ahead for 700m (132.1km), passing Villas Palmiye and Maia on the left. Just after these villas you will see a large metal pylon on the right, turn right immediately after the pylon, and then right again. Drive on a head passing Villa Kisla Han on the left. After another 200m you will arrive at 2 white villas on the left, with blue canopies over the carports. Drive past these villas (uphill and to the right) and Villa Su will be the next villa on your left. Welcome to Villa Su.
