Absolutely unacceptable – health hazard and misleading listing
Our stay was severely impacted by serious issues not reflected in the listing. Most critically, water leaked from the ceiling and walls, resulting in visible mold and soaked furniture and clothes. We even woke up with water dripping onto us in bed, and dangerously, water was running onto electrical switches – a major safety hazard. The kitchen was poorly equipped: damaged pots, a broken corkscrew, filthy baking trays, and dull knives made cooking unsafe. The electricity was unstable, with flickering lights when using multiple devices. We found ants all over the kitchen, including in our food. Stray cats and dogs frequently entered the terrace, leaving behind noise, feces, and vomit. The pool heating, charged at 45/day, never reached a comfortable temperature (only 23C), and our request to turn it off was ignored. The heating was inadequate for the size of the apartment – only two small mobile heaters had to be moved from room to room.Despite informing the host of most of these issues, we received no help or compensation – just a shrug and "that's how it is." The water damage and mold appeared on the last night and made staying any longer completely unacceptable. While the view is indeed beautiful, it sadly doesn’t make up for the many serious shortcomings of this property.
