The Space:
This homely 2 bedroom apartment is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and an easy 3-minute walk from the River Thames. B@Home invites you to enter on the ground floor, directly into the warm and bright open plan kitchen with small breakfast bar. The lounge comprises a 3 seater sofa and armchair along with a dining table in the bay window. There is also a TV, DVD/CD player and wireless broadband throughout.
There are two spacious double bedrooms, both offering plenty of storage space. The first presents a kingsize bed, TV and DVD player, the second with two singles (can be made up as a King on request).
In the cosy and inviting bathroom there is a bath with mains shower over and a large mirror with a ‘steam-free’ zone.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience with a kettle, toaster, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, induction hob, single oven plus combination microwave/grill/oven. Basic amenities will be provided for your arrival.
The rear door to the property leads out to a large communal garden and a table and chairs on the patio where you can enjoy an alfresco meal or simply relax and listen out for the inimitable and exotic chirping of the ‘local’ parakeets!
Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the full property and use of the communal garden (shared with the other residents in the building).
Getting Around:
A bus stop for the no.65 is located on the main road just a couple of minutes walk from B@home and it takes 5-10 minutes to reach Kingston town centre/train station in one direction. In the opposite direction, it takes 15-20 minutes to reach Richmond train/underground station. Central London can be reached within approximately 30 minutes from both Kingston and Richmond stations. The no.285 bus runs between Heathrow Airport and Kingston town centre. In the summer months, there is a boat from Kingston Riverside to both Hampton Court Palace and Richmond. Uber provides good service in the area. Unrestricted on-street parking is available on the cul-de-sac and adjacent street.
Travel by tube or train into London takes no more than 30 minutes from either Kingston or Richmond stations (total travel time to Central London is roughly 1 hour from B@Home).
20 minute walk to Richmond Park, 1 hour walk to Hampton Court Palace, 30 minute walk to Bushy Park, 30 minutes walk to Ham House and 5 minutes to The River Thames (via the Hawker Centre).
Other Things to Note:
B@Home shares communal gardens with the friendly residents of Lancaster Close. Please be respectful of other residents.
Parking is for permit holders only between 11am & 2pm, Mon-Sat, but free and unrestricted outside of those times.
