8 person holiday home in Ålbæk

Holiday home with whirlpool located in inland dunes in Lodskovvad close to child-friendly beach and Ålbæk. The house is simple, bright and well furnished with kitchen-living room / living room with sloping ceilings and access to the morning terrace. There is a wood burning stove and energy saving heat pump. Three good, spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms with underfloor heating, one of which has a whirlpool. There is good garden furniture and parasols for the comfortable holiday life. The house is located on a beautiful natural plot, which is adjacent to a large common area with dune vegetation and sand. On the plot there is the opportunity to find shelter, sun and view the fascinating wildlife and nature.

A refundable deposit might be charged closer to your check-in date. This deposit covers utilities consumed during your stay and any additional services that may be taken. The final amount will be adjusted based on actual meter readings, actual usage of extra services, and any remaining balance will be refunded within 21 days after checkout.

Washer and dryer were out of order and wasn’t getting fixed. We were not informed in advance nor compensated. We rented this place because it had a washer and dryer. The house wasn’t preheated upon our arrival and it took 2 days to get a brick house to a comfortable temperature at our cost. We were met with a 214.00 electricity bill for 1 weeks stay - outrageous! There was only hot water enough for one 30-45 second shower and that was turning the water on and off between each process - you never felt you got properly rinsed off unless you wanted a cold shower. We were 4 adult and the place can supposedly house 8 people. I have a hard time understanding how you can rent out a house that doesn’t even hold enough hot water for one person.There was no instructions or information laid out and all in all did not seem very welcoming. This was during Christmas, so it made for a very stressful time for us.
