This is an ancient clog maker’s workshop from the late 19th century. It has been lovingly transformed and extended to a two bedroom and two bathroom cosy cottage, with a north facing courtyard and south facing garden. The cottage in the little village of Bubertré, which is in the wonderful natural park of Le Perche, 150km from Paris. The nearest village with amenities is Tourouvre, 5mins drive away. It holds it food market every Friday. There is a fabulous artisanal bakery, tourist office, supermarket, épicerie, organic food shop, pharmacy, post office, hairdresser, restaurant, cafe and bar.
The capital town of Le Perche, Mortagne au Perche is 10mins away. There is a lot more to see and explore there, it holds its wonderful food market every Saturday.
There are lots of bucolic walks around where you can soak in views of the fields, valleys and forests.
