The house was built in 1884 and is centrally located in Mora
Come and experience Mora's history and present! This accommodation has been completely renovated in 2023 to recreate the feel of the early 20th century, when the house was once an inn and telegraph/telephone station. In the interior there are several details from this time, such as telephones from the 19th century, paintings by Anders Zorn's apprentices and wallpaper in recreated patterns from the turn of the century. The older finds are mixed with modern kitchen equipment, contemporary laundry room and comfortable newly installed showers and toilets.
With a location next to Mora church, the Vasaloppet finish line and the famous Zorngården with museum, culture is literally both in and around the house.
On the entrance floor there is a large spacious hall, kitchen with laundry room and pantry and dining room with dining area for 12 people. Inside the kitchen is the "Pigkammaren" with a double bed and a private shower room.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms with a total of 9 beds, as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet.
There is also another small space hidden under the stairs: "Augusta's chamber".
MoraTelegrafen is our family's dream project. Here we have renovated and decorated with great love for the history of the house. We hope that you who live here appreciate this house and enjoy it as much as we do. Warm welcome!
