Beautifully kept cottage, in a very picturesque village, and approx 10-15 mins drive from Dorchester or Wareham. We loved it.Be aware that there are low beams which are very much in keeping but you might need to duck sometimes if you are tall.

Hazel Cottage is a superb historic thatched roof building that has been tastefully restored.
Hazel Cottage is a superb historic thatched roof building that has been tastefully restored. It is exceptionally well equipped and very clean. The owners, Jo and David, are wonderful hosts, and were immensely helpful when my wife became unwell. The cottage is situated in a village of similar thatched buildings, with great walking and scenery. There are many excellent pubs and restaurants nearby, but none within walking distance. We are definitely coming back again, and would highly recommend this property.

Simply Splendid! 400 year old Hazel Cottage is delightful, extremely comfy, incredibly clean, well equipped, with oodles of charm and love! The fire place is spectacular and still maintains some original features such as the bread oven, just lovely! The owners Jo and David are extremely welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. The information folder they have carefully put together is amazing, its packed with a variety of information and much more. We cant wait to return, thank you so much for the most relaxing 3 day escape. The perfect Chocolate Box Village. Take Care. x
