Cherry Blossom Cottage is only a few minutes walk from York city centre and all of its many amenities and tourist attractions, making it the perfect base for city centre exploring.

Pull up outside and you have a lovely front seating area, with parking for one car ,inside is a well equipped kitchen with everything to use for your self catering stay, go through to the lounge which has lovely seating and a smart tv, please not the sofa turns into a sofa bed linen must be requested (linen on request charge of £20.00) the lounge is a wonderful conservatory with seating and dining table, thru to the courtyard garden with seating and stunning views of the bar walls. Up stairs is an impressive size bedroom with storage and a king-size bed, this can split into two singles on request. Main bathroom with shower over.

Charming, Clean and Quiet Cottage

We loved everything about this cottage including how quiet it was at night, the beautiful view of the lilac tree from the sunny and relaxing sun room, the cute kitchen and the picturesque neighborhood. Top notch! We will definitely be back here again-one of our favorite places we’ve stayed in in Europe!

Why they chose this property

The street runs inside the York city walls, and its name is presumed to refer to the walls of Roman Eboracum, which followed a similar line. The street was first recorded in the 1180s. The 10th-century church of St Helen-on-the-Walls was constructed just off the street, on what became known as St Helen's Lane, but this was demolished in the 1580s. Centrally located for all of the wonderful attractions York has to offer.
