About this property

Château d'Humières - Casa Clementine

Casa Clementine is one of two houses in the grounds of the chateau. A 240 year old building newly renovated for summer 2023, it offers 3 double bedrooms and an attic room that sleeps 8, ideal for families or groups who want a fantastic space in a peaceful setting. Enjoy a BBQ in the chateau courtyard in summer and the huge open fire in winter, or dinner for 14 around the large dining table. The house offers around 250m2 of space and guests are welcome to walk and play in the grounds at the front of the chateau.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens around the house and there are many walks to take. There is a lot of space for children to play outside, enjoy the BBQ and spend time with friends in the gardens at the front. Please do ask permission if you would like to visit the gardens behind the main chateau.

We love this house for the charm and amazing space to spend time with family and friends. The building is nearly 250 years old and is an amazing setting in peaceful countryside, surrounded by real "chateau life". The heating is by pellet stove (pellets provided), radiators and the grand fireplace which you should enjoy using in colder months.

You will find many attractions, walks and places to visit nearby and you should have a car. There are numerous supermarkets nearby - the pretty town of Hesdin approx 15 mins by car. La Cour de Remi is a beautiful restaurant 40 minutes walk from the house through the stunning countryside.

There is a Petanque/Boule court just outside the chateau, next to the village church.

nice weather

it was on the 1th view very nice , a lot of thing broken,coffee machine didn't work. heating didn't work, smell from the bathroom downstairs, the house was not 100 clean and no enter at 16 h as on the confirmation, someone was still cleaning. the outside furniture was very dirty. I guess if the building should be maintained more carefully it should be the nicest place to be. because it's a very nice and cosy house. also the village is very nice.But with the service as it is now, there is no change that we should advise this place to someone or go back.

Nous avons passé un excellent weekend à la casa Clementine. Le cadre est magnifique, la décoration moderne et le charme atypique de la maison ont rendu ce séjour super. Le logement est conforme à la description et est bien équipé. La présence de Snowy fait son petit effet. Nous nous souviendrons de ce séjour anniversaire entre ami. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Excellent séjour à Humières

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre week-end familial. Stephan nous a très bien reçus, toujours à l'écoute de nos besoins, mais en toute discrétion. Le gîte est spacieux et bien décoré. Les équipements sont bien pensés et de qualité.

We love spending time at the house with friends and family. It has been set up for large groups with comfortable sleeping arrangements and fantastic entertaining space. The size of the lounge and kitchen make it a truly wonderful house to spend time together.
