Toothbrush Apartments - 2 Bed / 1 Bath Central Ipswich - Lloyds Avenue
This two bedroom, one bathroom apartment is on the second floor above a commercial unit right in the centre of Ipswich Town, with direct access to shops, restaurants and entertainment. It's close to the main business district, and roughly a 10 minute stroll to the popular waterfront area. It comes with 1 unallocated, off road parking space (via electronic permit) to the rear of the building.
** Max Occupancy is 3 people. Minimum age for children is 8 years old. Children are included in the maximum occupancy. Additional security deposit applies.**
The apartment is both modern and homely, with some lovely original building features, such as the crank handle to open the windows in the lounge, and a large roof window (non-opening) above the kitchen! It's decorated and furnished to a very comfortable level with a fully equipped kitchen including fridge freezer, oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and sufficient cooking/serving equipment for your day-to-day catering.
PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is to the rear of the building and overlooks a car park. Due to the town centre location, it's possible you may experience some street noise from time to time. There is no lift in the building.
You will be provided on arrival with a welcome pack of basics such as bread, butter, milk, cereal, eggs, beans and tea/coffee. We also provide essentials such as washing up liquid, kitchen rolls, cooking oil, salt and pepper.
The living room is open plan and has a large comfortable sofa, a further armchair, and a large Smart 42" TV that stands on a unit. Free to air terrestrial channels are provided and also the facility for you to view your own streaming content. There is a dining table with four chairs and a breakfast bar with two chairs.
The master bedroom has a comfortable super king-size bed, plus bedside tables with lamps and there is a walk-in 'dressing area' with hanging and storage space. There is an external door and fire escape stairs that lead down to the rear of the building.
The second bedroom has a small double bed, a beside table with lamp, and a small storage unit with some hanging space.
The bathroom has a bath with shower-over-bath and curtain, along with toilet and basin. Welcome toiletries (shampoo/shower gel) are provided.
There is a wide communal staircase that takes you to the second floor, which is shared with only 3 other apartments in the block.
Ipswich is Suffolk’s County Town and due to recent and significant regeneration projects, the town is alive and bustling. It has a thriving business district, an excellent cultural and arts scene, a constantly growing food and drink offering, sports and outdoor activities galore, some spectacular coastal, rural and architectural scenery, many places of interest to visit, and not forgetting the impressive history and heritage of the area which dates back to the Anglo-Saxon times. You will not be bored visiting Suffolk!
Ipswich has a great transport service network of buses, trains and taxis as well as good access to A12 / A14 arterial roads and is just one hour from both London Stansted and London Southend airports by car, and the train from London Liverpool Street.
