Very nice location to a home that I believe has a lot of history. The day we were traveling, I was asked for a security deposit. As if traveling isn't stressful enough, to have to look through emails and double check I never paid the security deposit (wasnt an option at time of booking) added to the stress. The host allowed us to check in early (3pm) instead of 5pm which was greatly appreciated after overnight travel. There are two main rugs in formal dinning room and living room. These need to be at the very least washed if not replaced. At check in, the host told us one of them had been ruined by fire from the guest who just left, but the amount of dirt on these was gross.Opening windows was also an adventure, as some might not have been opened in a while and lacking cleanliness. I also felt that for the price of 1 week, toilet paper could have been provided. At least more the three 1/2 rolls.The property was beautiful. Well maintained. If the inside matched the outside, the house would get 6 out of 5 starsGreat location, but room for improvement.
