Káam Group was started because of our love of Puerto Morelos and its surroundings.

After more than 30 years of living in this hidden paradise, we decided that it needed to be shared with the world. Our accommodating studios will make you feel like you live here with us. It’s your home away from home. Our goal is to make your Puerto Morelos vacation a living dream every single time you visit by offering you top quality service without the loss of that small town feeling.

Káam, in the Mayan language, means to accommodate and that’s just what we do.

We offer you cozy apartments adorned in Mexican décor and equipped with a comfortable king-sized bed, sofabed, fully equipped kitchen and a lovely shower with amazing water pressure. Each room features locally crafted furniture and Mexican granite kitchen countertops fabricated by a true local artist. Each building also features an amazing roof top palapa to enjoy your Mexican siesta while overlooking the ocean and tropical flowers on your own private balcony as you enjoy your morning coffee.

K’áanáb, meaning “house by the sea” in the Mayan language, allows you to immerse yourself in the Mexican tradition. Each room features locally crafted furniture and Mexican granite kitchen counter tops.

We have a perfect location: within walking distance to the beach, the main square, local markets and an array of delicious restaurants.

Our stay at “Kaan” condos was great. The units are new, clean, modern and their location is spot on - a 3 min walk to the beach or town sq and directly accross from from the flat chicken restaurant! Well appointed with fabulous beds and appliances. Our Hosts Reyna and Anna were very accommodating and personable and were always on site to help out with any needs. Maid staff and gardeners were also pleasant and efficient. The studio unit (we thought it was a one bedroom) was a little small for our month long stay, as was the closet space - but in “PM” it’s all about the beach and the community, and the reminder of what’s really important in our lives - and every year I thank this amazing community for that - adjusting my perspective on life.

Bait and switch do not book

Horrible communication! We actually didn’t stay here because they tried to move us to another property. When we went to the other property (BLUE BUILDING) there was no one there… after they told us they were waiting for u! We were in Puerto Morelos a few weeks before this trip and tried getting the exact location of the property so we could check it out. They kept being very vague and sending bogus maps, etc. I will say that VRBO stepped up and helped us get refund! But we had to scramble and find another place at the 11th hour that was over $1,000 more for the week…

The rooms were clean and efficient, no clutter or cobwebs. Rooftop palapa was great place to watch sunrise/set. Reina was easy to find and talk to. Pool was great. I'd go back for sure!

Beautiful property and great location

I had a great time staying at this property. I stayed in the orange/yellow building. The owner Rayna, manager and on site staff were very pleasant to deal with. I had my two year old travelling with me and they had a pack and play on site so I didn't need to bring one or worry about this for my son. Everything is brand new and in spectacular condition. The pool area is small but elegant and just perfect for a quick dip to get out of the heat. Because this condo/resort is so new there were a few kitchen things that would have been helpful to have such as a pot, strainer, can opener, bottle opener. I notified the staff and they are looking to add these items to their kitchen. Also, there was only one cleaning per stay which I think should be more often. There is also a roof top patio area that is covered with a very nice large table, and some additional seating areas. Its not used often so was a bit dirty with dust on the floor and furniture. They also allowed me a late check out which was nice as our flight departed late in the evening. I would definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you for the lovely stay!
