Well sized double studio apartment offering comfort and privacy with lovely garden view and full height windows. Fully self contained with kitchen area providing all amenities required to make light meals or snacks and en-suite shower room. Ideally suited for a workers or travellers looking for peace and quiet to relax, and recharge.

Rossal House was originally built in 1873 and retains many of its historical features. Our apartments combine the perfect mix of classic and contemporary features. Choose from one of our 4 unique apartments offering different sizes of accommodation and personality.
You can choose from a luxury studio, one or two bedroom apartments with separate sitting room. All are apartments enjoy private bathrooms and separate kitchen, and are all thoughtfully designed for the modern traveller. There is an apartment to suit all tastes and budgets. They all provide an elegant setting for a relaxing highland retreat, where you can enjoy the rich heritage and charming local traditions of the area.
We are close to the city centre but with a countryside feel quietly nestled within the residential conservation area of Inverness. We offer an ideal base for exploring the beauty of the surrounding countryside, or as a starting/finishing point for the magnificent North Coast 500 route (known as the NC500). We also benefit from large off road parking on site all covered by CCTV.

Lovely room in a beautiful building and gardens

Room was clean, well-serviced, comfortable. House and gardens were beautiful. Walking distance (10min) to River Ness and driving distance (5min) to town centre, excellent parking. Some difficulty checking in as we didn't realise there was no on-site reception, and hadn't received the check-in details email in advance, so some last minute (short-term) panic ensued, resolved via email with the manager.

Practical

Close to the city. Beautiful House. Quietness. Wouldn't have stayed longer because of the smell of the bathroom.

Rossal House has had a very varied and interesting history since it was built, initially as a family home for a prominent Doctor, and also as maternity hospital serving the town of Inverness. Many of the City's residents were either born here, or have connections to the property.
The current owners have worked hard over the last 20 years transforming the property back into a comfortable residential home for guests to enjoy the character and tranquility of the area.
