We loved the views from this Lugano apartment

The views over Lake Lugano are beautiful. The large table in the kitchen was great to enjoy the views and it was nice to have the two bedrooms on opposite sides, although the open air space between the two bathrooms was a bit strange. Unfortunately, the washing machine noted in a review months before as not working was still not working. It would have been nice to have been advised of this. The entrance to the building leads right out to a busy road, a little tricky, but we did get used to it. We also got used to the stairs to the 3rd floor. For the price, the location is amazing - so easy to get to the train station and the center of town. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we would have needed to cook, but the restaurants were all too enticing! Having a few coffee pods/tea bags for the first morning would have been appreciated. We would stay here again.

The property was advertised as having two bathrooms, it doesn’t. It has one bathroom and an extra toilet. I emailed twice before we checked in asking if the washing machine worked. I received an email back saying it did. When we arrived at the apartment the machine didn’t work. We needed to wash clothes so it was a big inconvenience. When I complained about it I was offered no compensation. There was no warning about how dangerous it is entering the apartment, there is no footpath at the entrance, just a really busy road. The food put bed was broken so made it very uncomfortable to sleep on for my 17 year old son. The apartment has a coffee pod machine but no pods. Overall we were very disappointed.

Overall ok!

Location outstanding. Very clean. Bedding not as described, 2 pull out couches not actual bed. Comfortable enough for a few night but no third bed as listed. Entrance to building was literally in the street so yup had to run across 2 lanes of traffic to enter the building one at a time. We were fine to do it but anyone that may not to quick on their feet may be scared. The view was amazing. Kitchen pretty stacked with cups, utensils, plates and such. Biggest disappointment was the washer and dryer didn’t work. This was a main factor of why we chose this flat. Lugano was our mid stopping point and where we planned to wash essentials to get through the second half of the trip. The staff attempted to fix the unit and once it was “fixed” it still took 4 hours for one washing and doesn’t actually dry even though the destruction said it did. We had to hang our clothes on the coat rack to get as much moisture out as we could and bring a wet bag of clothes. Not ideal but we survived. All in all I would stay here again if I knew what I know now.

Lugano Trip

Im großen ganzen waren wir zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Es gab jedoch einige Kritikpunkte. Als erstes die Parkplatzsituation bei unserer Anreise mit dem PKW. Leider gibt es keine kostenlosen Parkplätze in Nähe der Unterkunft. Die einzige Parkmöglichkeit ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz der Werktags von 07:00 - 19:00 gebührenpflichtig ist. Die maximale Höchstparkdauer beträgt 2 Stunden. Des weiteren der schon etwas gefährliche Eingangsbereich. Nach nur einer Stufe steht man auf der viel und schnell befahrenen Hauptstraße. Die Treppen nach oben ersetzen das Fitnessprogramm. Die Waschmaschine funktionierte leider nicht weil kein Strom auf der Steckdose war. Das Schlafsofa hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Gut schlafen ließ es sich darauf nicht. Die Ausstattung der Küche war ok allerdings wird es für 6 Personen schon etwas eng. Im Badezimmer gab es einige Schimmelstellen. Ansonsten konnte man am großen Küchentisch gut mit 6 Leuten sitzen und die wirklich tolle Aussicht genießen.

Mirador Del Lago

Wir fanden es wirklich sehr sehr schön. Gesehen große Wohnung mit vielen Fenstern. Zusätzlich gab es zwei Päckchen mit Seife, Shampoo und Duschgel und ein Päckchen mit Spülmittel, schwamm, Tab und Sppültuch. Es gab ausreichend Kapseln für die Nespresso Kaffeemaschine, die in der Kwohnung ist. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.
