Sunderland city centre apartments at Tavistock place is a newly refurbished top floor apartment looking over Sunderland city centre. 9 people can stay comfortably like a home away from home, with 3 spacious bedrooms. Bedroom 1 and 2 have double beds and bedroom 3 has a double bunk bed and a separate double bed. The large living space had a sofa bed, large flat screen tv and a 6 chair dining table. The kitchen has everything you’d expect for your stay and the bathroom has an over-bath shower.

Im Inserat wird Wohnung Nummer 6 angeboten haben aber Wohnung Nummer 5 bekommen, die nicht den Bildern entspricht. Im 2.Badezimmer war der Boden sehr dreckig. Und im Wohnzimmer war bei der Ankunft das Fenster weit offen und dementsprechend (Dezember) war es in der Wohnung sehr kalt. Was schön war, das man wirklich mitten in der City ist. Stadium of Light sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Disgraceful, not as advertised, filthy.

We arrived late at the property to hear men arguing on the lower apartments which frightened the children. There was very poor communication with the owner and i only found i was booked into apartment 5, and not 6 that i had requested, upon arrival. The apartment stank of cigarettes, the owner said it was non smoking, but there were cigarette burns in the sofa. The rooms were dark and depressing. The bed had a duvet cover for a sheet and blood stains on the matress. The apartment was poorly finished with bare wires in the bathroom, plinths missing in the kitchen. I was unable to fully open one cupboard due to draws not being fixed in place and blocking the cupboard. When i did look inside the cupboard was filthy, also food substances under the sofa. We had to stay that night as it was too late to move with 2 children. We left the following morning as early as possible. The electricity did go off over night so it was freezing and my medical equipment was not working. When i contacted the owners on several occasions they showed no interest even when i explained i was travelling with a disabled child. Beyond belief. I did not realise you could give no stars above otherwise i would have done.
