It was fine

I specifically booked this VRBO because of the amenities listed and the prices. We appreciated the location being just outside of the city proper - it was quiet and only a 5 minute walk from the West Kensington tube. Here are my main issues: 1. The property listing says it has WiFi. We got an automated message a few hours before arriving that said the property does NOT have WiFi and we needed to purchase a card for hotspot. This property DOES NOT have WiFi and the owner should update the amenities listing or get WiFi. We didn’t let that keep us down we just never came back to the property except to sleep and shower. 2. The property does NOT have a dryer, even though it is listed on the amenities. While the owner believes it is a dual machine - you still have to hang dry your clothes, which took 2+ days to dry indoors since this is a basement property. The owner should update the listing that this does not have a dryer. 3. We bought food to cut down on costs here and there but the stove is induction and the owner only has tefal pots, needless to say they don’t work. He said to take pictures of the pots, which I did and sent them but he never responded after the pictures were sent. 4. The mattresses leave less than to be desired to sleep on. I measured them - they are spring mattresses that are 2 inches thick. Every time I laid down, I could feel the bed platform beneath the mattress. I have more to say - but have maxed out the character limit. Just beware.
