About this property

New listing - Super comfortable large house in middle of Lynton!

A wonderfully spacious house, beautifully furnished with a great modern kitchen and everything you need to set up base in this fantastic North Devon village. Easy walking distance of Valley of the Rocks, village centre, funicular to Lynmouth and many spectacular walks.

The house is set on three floors with two reception rooms, one of which is our 'movie room'. Bedrooms comprise two superking sized beds, a twin, a single and a double to accommodate parties of up to eight.

The house is situated just a few yards from the post office, convenience stores and the wonderful little gift shops and eateries Lynton offers.

There are two beaches within a 5 minute car journey - the shingle and stone beach at Lynmouth in one direction and the beach at Lee Bay in the other. Ten minutes drive will take you to breath taking views of Exmoor and, if you are interested in exploring further afield, Lynton is just 35 minutes to Barnstaple and 40 minutes to Woolacombe beach.

We loved it!

We are regular visitors to Lynton and have stayed in many properties. This, however was by far the best. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Well appointed, immaculate. Great communication with hosts. Will return without a doubt

Lovely house ,just a couple of little niggles .Not enough hot water for 8 people.Had to keep putting the water emersion on as it would only come on for 1 hour at a time. Also we were unable to get the hob on the cooker working. But other than that it was a lovely clean house

We are a family of five (and a dog!) and this is our recently purchased home. However, we currently live in a house provided with our occupation so are unable to live in Lynton for now.

We love this house and have greatly enjoyed spending time this past year furnishing it ready for holiday lettings. We hope you enjoy your time in it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Lynton and Lynmouth are situated in a truly breath taking area of North Devon and provide a great base for exploring all that this stunning part of the country offers - on land and at sea. Whilst popular with tourists and having a buzz about the place, they never feel too busy and there are plenty of interesting distractions and experiences to be had.

What makes this property unique

This is a large Victorian property set over three floors in fantastic condition and really comfortably furnished. There are three living spaces - the diner kitchen, movie room and main sitting room. Both sitting room and movie room have large Smart OLED TVs and the main sitting room is also equipped with a good old fashioned record player - unless you want to stick to bluetooth. In other words, there is plenty of space to relax after a busy day out. Or a lazy one.
