There is lots of history as you walk in the streets. Lots of monuments, stores, and cafes.
The nightlife is full of vibrant spots to hang out with your family and friends.
There is the Douro river, where you can enjoy a nice pleasant river cruise and try many different dishes and wines.
It is also located near the coast which provides your the possibility to go to the beach and enjoy a sunny day.

Many places in Porto are easily accessible on foot, but if you prefer public transportation:
- There are multiple bus stops that service the area.
- The nearest Metro stop: Bolhão: (3 min walking)
- The nearest Train Station: S.Bento: (10 min walking)
- Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is 25 mins drive from the flat.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 EUR smoking fee, at minimum.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 100€ included.

Santa Catarina apartment in Porto

We had a great time! The house was exactly what we expected as shown in the pictures! We were 5 plus a baby and we had more than enough room. The only thing I could say is that every time we left on foot it was a trek tp get back to the apartment but I think we only felt that way because we have a baby! Highly recommend!!

The place was amazing. Checking in, we were late due to missed train and the accommodated well. Great location. Day before we got email saying check out was 9. Site and king had at 11 so had to email back that it was 11 (we had early plans). They did not bother us and we stayed until 11.

Beautiful House, but Hot Water Issues

The house was great and suited our needs well, however, the hot water propane tanks ran out mid way through our stay and it was a frustrating process to try and get them replaced. It left us without hot water for over day and a half.

Clean and Good Location

Apartment is clean and spacious. Air conditioning very good for summer visit. Blackout shades help for good sleeping. Laundry good but dryer takes long. No sitting area so be prepared to sit at the kitchen table chairs for everything. Garage only fits a small car. No wine glasses or coffee - kitchen lacked some basics. Interesting decor as well. Overall decent.

Where to start. First night one of the shower drains stopped up and we found out the clothes washer did not work. Woke up in the am to NO hot water and one bathroom the toilet controls were sticking and water just running. I contacted the host and was told someone would come out and address everything. They addressed the shower drain only. That night another person came and said we were out of gas (there was a bottle on the patio when we got there and were told that the gas had just been replaced). I rented a hotel up the street so we could shower with hot water. The next day someone came and looked at everything and stated yes the washer is broken, the toilet controls were broken, did not fix anything, but he did bring gas. They did refund me for the cost of the hotel room that’s it and there was no way to dispute that. It may be in a good location but the space is just bad. It’s also advertised as a 3 bedroom. However, that is not the case. It seems they turned a living room space on the second floor into a bedroom that has a sheer curtain that didn’t even separate the room. In order to get to the two real bedrooms you had to walk through that other space. It is NOT a three bedroom. Adding a bed to a living space does not make it so. We have traveled extensively and stay in VRBO a lot and know things happen but the response from the host was unacceptable it seems they didn’t want to take responsibility in anything.
