If you are looking for a place to relax and build memories with family and friends, VILLA MAQUIS is the right place. Located on a hilltop (285m) the views are stunning. This new build (2023) luxury holiday house is located in North-Western Crete near the city of Chania.
Villa Maquis is the home of Rudi and Nancy and exclusively for rent in the summer. Our holiday villa is WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY (elevator) and offers all modern luxury, 65’ LED tv, in- and outdoor music (streaming), 4 en-suite bedrooms with each private terrace and views, a salt water pool (12x3) a pool lounge area, separate dining area with BBQ, and several terraces to relax and enjoy the wonderful views and natural environment.

The villa is integrated in its natural environment, without immediate neighbors on a plot of 4900m2. The different levels of the terrain are separated with Sheppard style walls and the natural vegetation is kept. On the East side the plot is covered with wild thyme, sage, wild olive trees and Maquis from where the name of the villa originates. Enjoy Greek nature and the peace around it, relax in luxury!.

This villa offers breathtaking views over the valley of Vamos and Gavalochori until the sandy beaches of Almyrida and Kalyves until the opposite side of the bay is Souda with the small islands of Marathi. On the East side the villa offers amazing and unobstructed views to mountains (2450m).

The villa is located at 1,2 km from the center of VAMOS a reputaties original Greek village. A small drive of 5 km will take you to the cosy sandy beaches with lounge bars and small beach restaurants. The villa is in the middle between the cities Chania and Rethymnon.

The holiday house is located at the end of a rural road in the province of APOKORONAS. This area is known for its green vegetation and the proximity of the white mountains which are covered with snow until the beginning of Mai.

Our villa is perfect for building family memories while relaxing in luxury.
