It is within walking distance to downtown Palm Springs shopping, restaurants, nightlife, the Casino, and the Convention Center. It is an easy five-minute walk to Ruth Hardy Park for tennis, volleyball, or basketball.

The home is available for rental during the holidays, the Palm Springs Film Festival, the Dinah Shore Weekend, and the Palm Springs’ Pride Festival just to name a few events in the valley. NOTE: This is not a party house. Not available to attendees, employees, sponsors, etc. of the Coachella or Stagecoach music festivals.

This home has all the contemporary comforts following a series of renovations including the kitchen (2013), desert landscaping (2015), a remodel of the master bath (2017), and the addition of a new ensuite to the guest bedroom and a complete overhaul of the backyard to resort-like standards (2022). The architect-designed state-of-the-art kitchen features stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, gas cooktop, vaulted ceilings with a layout flowing from the kitchen to the family room which features a 60-inch wall-mount flat-screen TV.

This beautifully renovated home features an open concept living room and dining room that have been furnished to capture the Palm Springs mid-century modern feel. The spacious primary suite has a king-size bed for your comfort and features a large ensuite with double sinks and a walk-in shower equipped with multiple shower heads for a spa experience. The bedroom has new sliding doors leading directly to the private pool and spa.

The second bedroom, also with a king bed, has recently been enlarged, adding a new bathroom, a large closet, and sliding glass doors to the patio and pool area.

A third, full bath with an inviting tub is off the hall that leads to the bedrooms.

The outdoor living space is newly redone with an appealing and comfortable shade structure, a dining area, and a new natural gas barbeque. Completely private and surrounded by ficus hedges, chaises allow you to lounge next to the pebble tech pool and spa, and an outdoor shower completes the resort-style compound with its spectacular unobstructed mountain views.

Nice place, great location very close to Palm Springs Airport

Stayed here 4 nights. Everything was as described in the listing. The property manager was very responsive, even though I didn’t have any problems. The weather was cold the few days I was there, but the hot tub was very nice to use, even if I couldn’t swim. Kitchen is well equipped and bed is comfy. I would come back.

Great location with pool!

Our family of four (6 and 4 yo kids) stayed here for five nights in January. We loved the location of this home as it is a quick drive to downtown and highways and a short walk to the park. The home was very clean and supplied with plenty of towels and linens. We did have some issues with the pool heater but management had it fixed by our second full day and we enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub in the middle of January. The check-in and check-out process was a little inconvenient as someone must meet you at the house to let you in. Since we were making a long drive with kids and had to deal with traffic it was extra stressful having to make sure we coordinated a specific time. Also, the home is described as kid friendly but we had several major concerns - there are dishwasher and laundry detergent pods easily accessible, the water temperature in the home can be very hot and there are no alarms or extra safety features to keep kids out of the pool area.

Beautiful Home in Movie Colony

We had a fantastic week stay in Ty's beautiful home. The layout and the furnishings are beautiful - the home could be in a magazine! The kitchen is modern and well stocked - we prepared many of our meals. Beds are comfortable and the master shower is wonderful. Ty also has tons of "local" - not tourist information - labeled in folders. I can't say enough about the grounds, pool and spa. We spent hours relaxing in the spa - very private. Location is great - easy to walk into town. We will be back next year!

First class house, one of best places I've ever stayed

From the time we met Jimee to give us the keys, to the time we checked out two days later, everything could not have been more perfect. The absolute cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in. Very modern and spacious. Almost felt like it was staged for an open house. Pool was great to cool down. Had every utensil you could ever need to assist with dinner. We will definitely be back! 10 stars!!

We loved everything about this house

We stayed for a month in December and absolutely loved it. It was an easy walk from downtown Palm Springs, in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was outfitted with almost everything we could think of, including a cocktail shaker. We did a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen was well designed for that. We loved the remote control for the hot tub, and the wonderful shower in the master bath. We really enjoyed having two separate living areas in the house, so if someone wanted to watch TV the other person could sit in the living room and read a book. Our guests were very happy with the guest room, and except for a slightly deteriorated bathroom cabinet, were happy with the guest bath too.

Spectacular property, well-thought out and well-provisioned for 2 people!

Really enjoyed our stay at this renovated little bungalow in the Movie Colony East! The property has been well-curated for a rental. Everything is at hand (kitchen, bathroom, pool). The pool is ample size for lounging; ditto the spa. Two couples would need to be VERY friendly to stay here together, but two friendly couples or a party of two will be delighted. Brad, the deputized on-site greeter, was great. Communications with the managing agent, Ty, were often not returned. VRBO fees added 50% to the cost, which is why I deduct one star from the review (just excessive price-gouging).

Fun time, perfect place to stay!

From check-in with Michael, to the time we said goodbye to this little beauty of a house we had a fantastic stay. Michael gave us a great run down of the ins and outs of the place, along with numbers, if we needed them, and even more info to read. Indeed, between Michael & the management company, and the house's owners, it seems everything we could have thought of was provided. The pool was lovely, of course, as was the weather during our stay. Even in mid-October the water in the pool was plenty warm. Really, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked when needed, the furnishings and fixtures were all what we were looking for. We just moved in, unpacked our suitcases, stopped by the grocery for a few supplies, and had a fantastic week. Yes, I'd stay at this house again! Thanks!
