About this property

Wonderful Place To Stay, Amsterdam

Wonderful place to stay on the ground floor half of a double house.
Direct next to Sarphatipark. The place is very complete, with a fully equipped​ kitchen, a bathroom with tub / shower.
Piano, TV and WIFI all available.
Breakfast is NOT available from us.

Public transport: Near crossing of Tram 4 and tram 3.
Tram 4 runs between Amsterdam Centraal Station and Amsterdam RAI Station, both of them have a direct connection to AMS Schiphol Airport. Tram 3 connects to Amsterdam Amstel Station and runs along many mayor sites, such as Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, Royal Concert hall​ and near Anne Frank's museum.
The inner city is at 500 meters distance, yet this place is very cozy​ and quiet.

Bedrooms are rented out jointly not seperately.

I stayed 7 days at this apartment. The hosts,Claire and Sven were awsome hosts. The kitchen was well equiped. Very clean. Located very close to grocery stores and tram stop not to mention Albert Cuyp market. I highly recommend this property and plan to return.

Sven and Claire’s place was perfect for our family of 4! The proximity to the park was even closer than the we anticipated, and spent hours at the playground just steps away. We cooked in the kitchen and it had everything we needed. I’ll recommend this spot to anyone who asks, and hope we can come back again!

Claire’s home is located in a very cool neighborhood just south of Central Amsterdamm called The Pijp (pronounced “pipe”. There is a park a few steps from her place, plenty of places to eat and drink, and a fantastic outdoor market that is about 3 blocks long that has everything you might want. Plus, it is easy walking distance to major museums and central Amsterdam. Her place is perfect do a couple or a family with young children. It has a full kitchen, with stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. Plus it has a washer AND dryer, which is unusual. Claire answered all of our questions promptly. We stayed there a full week, and it was a perfect location to start all of our excursions. I highly recommend it.

Our opinion? This was the best location to stay in Amsterdam. We traveled with our 14-year-old daughter and found so many cozy restaurants, shops and kind people in De Pijp. It was great being close to the outdoor market and having easy access to the train. It was wonderful to come home to a warm & comfortable setting. Claire and Sven’s apartment had exactly what we needed. The beds are very comfortable & the space is clean. And there’s a piano to play! Claire was very responsive to our questions. 5 stars!!

It is walking distance from shops, restaurants, museums, public transportation, a great market, and a large park. We were quite comfortable and had everything we needed. A beautiful stay

We loved staying at Claire and Sven’s. They were incredibly accommodating hosts, and their place was built and is maintained with a lot of care. The location was fantastic and we loved seeing the birds and cat visitor in the back yard.
