CAN GALERÍ, HOLIDAY HOME NEARBY CALA D'OR:
Can Galerí is a beautiful farm located in the municipality of Felanitx, very close to the picturesque and traditional towns of Es Carritxó and Cas Concos. Less than 10 minutes away we find the city of Felanitx, well known for its wine and culture, Cala d'Or, which stands out for its Ibizan style and a wide range of services, and with a short drive we can also visit the Mondragó natural park or the paradisiacal beach of Es Trenc.The house, built in 1900, is located in a very quiet rural environment and, although it has been completely restored, it retains its genuine character with exposed stone and Arabic tile facades. It has 25,000 m2 of its own land and a tourist license for 4 guests.The house is made up of two floors that total 190 m2. The lower one, of 135 m2, has a living room, kitchen and dining room, living room, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en suite, and a utility room. The upper floor, measuring 55 m2, and accessed by a classic staircase, is made up of a living room, two double bedrooms, one of which has a large dressing room, and a bathroom.Inside, all the details have been taken care of, preserving the natural stone, wooden girders and beams and some ethnological elements that will remind us of the livestock past of the different rooms. Hydraulic tiles have also been reused to give them a very particular use in one of the bathrooms. As for the finishes, much attention has been paid to the air conditioning and use of km0 and local materials, making the most of the original walls. The natural luminosity stands out in all the interiors due to the south orientation of the house and the details in windows, doors and enclosures to promote energy efficiency.The kitchen is presented with a rustic-modern style, white to highlight natural light. It is presented in a U shape to make the most of the space. The countertop is made of imitation wood, which allows you to continue with the character of the home without losing practicality. The bathrooms are fully furnished.All rooms have pre-installation of air conditioning with heat pump, central heating through radiators and in the kitchen - dining room you can install a natural wood fireplace. As for telecommunications, the house has fiber optic cable and international TV.Outside, we find a small renovated toilet and an old utility room that is intact as if no time had passed, with its sinks for washing clothes, a cooker, a bonfire and a traditional bread oven. Attached to the house we also find a space intended for an orchard with several fruit trees, a cistern that collects rainwater, a small dairy and a garage that already have a restoration and rehabilitation project to carry out works in the future.The home has wastewater treatment using a compact septic tank and biological filter with a quality control certificate. Additionally, it also has a modern and complete installation of self-consumption solar panels for domestic consumption.
