This charming stone house offers from its terraces a plunging perspective and an exceptional view over the secluded bay of Duboka, located 3 km from the picturesque small village of Milna in the south-east of Brac.
The house is surrounded by terraces and 1000sqm of a carefully tended Mediterranean garden, covered with olive trees and aromatic plants. Paths handcrafted from local stone lead to an outdoor barbecue and garden benches and tables ideal for enjoying a coffee or a beer. Resting among pines and olives, overlooking Duboka Bay and nearby islands Hvar and Vis, expect sunrises, sunsets and moonscapes that will take your breath away. It's perfect for a romantic honeymoon, a family vacation or a vacation with close friends.
Stairs lead from the garden gate to Duboka Bay and the sea is two minutes away, accessed via a landscaped terrace. There is also a possibility for boat mooring.
Casual seaside charm and outdoor lifestyle are captured in this traditional Dalmatian getaway. This is a house with a big heart, gardens and terraces surrounding the house, so you have shade and sun throughout the day.
Duboka Beach House has 2 floors, 3 bedrooms with 2 ensuite shower rooms + 1 full shower room easily accessible from the 3rd bedroom and living room. There is also an outdoor shower made in stone, behind the house. The house is bright and air-conditioned.

You can reached the house by a short rustic drive from the town of Milna, and is most suitable for those who yearn a complete vacation away from the urban bustle.

Wonderful late summer vacation

Wonderful stay! Easy access to the water. Beautiful terrace, especially at sunset. We rented a boat in Milna for the week and kept it down at the jetty.

Beautiful Villa on a wonderful Island

The villa and property are beautiful with stunning views of the sea from many different vantage points. The property is private and the gardens are beautiful. As promised our hosts Julia and Nikola met us and directed us to the property. They were very charming as the showed us the property and it's amenities. We had 5 nights in this incredible place and did not want to leave. The outdoor shower was wonderful. Brac is a beautiful island with many charming small towns to visit, Thank you Julia and Nikola for an incredible experience.

Week on Brac

We absolutely loved our time on Brac! The house on Duboka Bay was magical and everything we wanted. From the views, to the gardens, terraces and outdoor shower it was a true Croatian holiday home. The town of Milna has great restaurants and small markets so you will never need to travel far (and once you arrive you will never want to leave the house!). The bay was clear and the most beautiful colors of blue and turquoise. Sea urchins and small fish were found nearby and the swim platform with ladder allows for easy access in and out of the sea. One thing to note is there are over 100 stairs to the sea so plan ahead when going for a swim! Highly recommend the property for small groups as there are three bedrooms with doublebeds and plenty of bathrooms and an outdoor shower. We cannot wait to return to Brac and Duboka Bay!

Schöner Ausblick, hier bezahlt man die schöne Lage

Wir waren 6 Erwachsene mit Hund. Bitte an alle Reisenden mit Hund: wir haben nachweislich mit Hund gebucht, wurde aber anscheinend nicht an die Eigentümer weitergegeben. Bei der Ankunft war die Eigentümerin wenig erfreut darüber. Wir haben dann bar für den Mehraufwand der Reinigung was bezahlt. Danach bekamen wir aber noch eine Email von der Agentur, mit Regeln, wie wir den Hund im Haus und rund ums Haus halten sollten. Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Ansonsten war es ein schöner Aufenthalt. Meerwasser wunderschön, Buchten traumhaft. Terrasse und der Garten des Hauses wunderbar. Zum Haus: Die Betten sind sehr schmal, die Zimmer sehr klein, keine Kästen für die Kleidung, eher provisorische Regale mit Vorhang. In einem Zimmer nur eine Kommode, nichts zum Aufhängen. Die Utensilien in der Küche könnten etwas aufgerüstet werden. Zufahrt: die Strasse ist nichts für tiefergelegte Autos!

2 Wochen Entspannung

Ein sehr schönes und gemütlich eingerichtetes Haus, umgeben von einem wundervoll angelegten Garten mit traumhafter Aussicht auf drei ruhige Buchten und das Meer. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft sehr herzlich von den Vermietern empfangen und mit allen wichtigen Informationen versorgt. Durch die ruhige und ganz besondere Lage war es uns möglich 14 Tage zu entspannen und neue Kraft zu tanken. Dabei haben wir jeden Tag aufs Neue die herrliche Aussicht von den Terrassen und die Nähe zum Meer genossen. Wer eine Auszeit und Ruhe fernab von Touristenströmen sucht, dem ist dieser Ort unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Traumurlaub

In dem liebevoll und individuell eingerichteten Haus haben wir einen traumhaften Urlaub verbracht. Herrlich zum relaxen. Badesteg ist nur ein paar Treppenstufen entfernt. Ein Auto Vorort zu haben ist nicht schlecht, denn für einen Einkauf zu Fuß ist es zu weit nach Milna. Wir kommen sehr gerne mal wieder!

Unbeschreiblich schönes Anwesen

Wirklich ungewöhnlich schönes Haus mit tollem Garten und sehr netter Vermieterin.Es war alles sehr sauber und gut gerichtet. Ruhige Lage, eigener Meerzugang ohne öffentlichen Strand und dadurch super für jeden, der nicht zuviel Touristen um sich herum haben will. Mit dem Auto ist man aber in 5-8 Minuten m nächsten Ort und kann dort die sehr gute Infrastruktur mit Gastronomie und Ferienangeboten, wie Bootsverleihe und Bootsausflügen uvm. mehr nutzen. Wir würden sofort wieder herkommen. Vielleicht nächstes Jahr.

Ein entzückendes Häuschen mit traumhafter Terrasse

Etwas abseits von Milna gelegen, liegt das Häuschen in einem traumhaften Garten, der so viele versteckte und gemütliche Plätze bietet, dass man jeden Tag eine andere Ecke des Gartens genießen kann. Das Highlight ist sicherlich die Terrasse mit wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen. Es sind allerdings 124 Stufen (von unserem Sohn gezählt) bis zum Meer hinunter und natürlich muss man diese auch wieder hinauf gehen ;) Die Nähe zu Milna ist angenehm und man ist trotzdem etwas abgeschieden und kann die Ruhe und die Zikaden geniessen. Die nicht sehr stark befahrene Straße nach Milna ist mit 2 Steigungen ganz gut mit dem Rad zu bewältigen. Ein perfekter Ort mit einem traumhaften Meer und einer grandiosen Outdoordusche.

Haus am Meer mit grandioser Aussicht

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) haben die grandiose Aussicht von der Terasse und die Nähe zum Meer sehr genossen. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Führung durch das Haus! Die Energieversorgung durch die Solaranlage hat vollkommen ausgereicht. Mit dem Stand-up-Paddl des Hauses haben wir die schöne Bucht auskundschaftet. Die Nähe zum schönen Fischerhafen Milna war ebenfalls vorteilhaft zum Einkaufen oder auswärts zu essen.

Sehr nette Vermieterin, wunderbares Haus, sehr schoen eingerichtet. Atemberaubendes Blick ueber die Bucht, Inseln und offenes Meer. Sehr nahe am Wasser, und die ein paar Treppen hoch lohnen sich fuer den Blick den man geniessen kann. Solche Sonnenuntergaenge sind nicht einfach zu finden. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Tolles Haus

Besonders genossen haben wir den atemberaubenden Blick von der Terrasse über die ruhige Bucht. Die Besitzer heben es geschafft trotz moderner Ausstattung und Ausrüstung den ursprünglichen Charakter des Hauses zu erhalten. Der Garten ist besonders liebevoll gestaltet und gepflegt. Character home, quiet and peaceful, swim and relax

A lovingly built and furnished Croatian home . A mature garden and 100 steps down to the sea. This is a place to relax either on the terrace in seclusion, read or dive from the small jetty and swim across the bay. We had a quiet and peaceful holiday. It’s not the ‘designer’ villa but one of character with great view south west to Hvar. Hired car (recommend) and enjoyed a day or two in Bol and on the north coast. Milna just 2 miles away and a couple of good restaurants and chance to watch the yacht types from across Europe. It took less than 3 hours to travel from Split airport to the property on Brac, collecting the car in Supetar on the way.

My name is Andjelka Julija and together with my husband Nike, I'm the owner of the house. We are from Split. 40 years ago we fell in love with Duboka bay, and decided to building our summer house. Most of the work, especially stone work is done by us, with great care to each detail.

We love nature, our garden, watching the sea, picking olives, wild flowers, wild asparagus....We are seventy years old and retired, so most of the year we live in our beautiful house and tend to our garden.
