About this property
Maso Leprotto - Charming elegant Mountain Lodge, panoramic view and pet friendly
Welcome to Maso Leprotto (small Leveret), our mountain chalet nestled in the picturesque hamlet of Masi Stablo; a group of Chalets brought back to life through the dream and dedication of Tiziano Dossi, situated at ca 1,500 meters altitude in the Val di Pejo.
Maso Leprotto is one of the chalets within the hamlet, of which three are still owned by the Dossi family and offered to our guests.
This cozy but spacious chalet enjoys a south-facing location offering spectacular panoramic views of the majestic Ortler-Cevedale mountains, the Pejo Valley, and the Adamello Brenta in the heart of the Alta Val di Sole.
Easily accessible by car in spring, summer, and autumn, with a reserved parking spot; during heavy winter snow, access is exclusively by snowmobile\snowscooter.
Maso Leprotto is perfect for those seeking an authentic vacation deeply immersed in nature and the unspoiled beauty of the mountains.
Restored with the authentic flavor of Trentino-South Tyrol, the chalet blends traditional building materials and techniques that fully reflect the regional architectural style.
Both exterior and interior, the Maso Leprotto preserves the charm of the "Stube," (traditional wooden decorated panneling interiors) enhanced by carefully selected furniture curated by Tiziano, a passionate antique collector and enthusiast of old treasures.
His passion is evident in the loving details and charming accents, enriching the spaces with a touch of antiquity and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere in every season, without sacrificing modern comforts.
The property features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living area, ideal for up to 5 guests.
Outside you'll find a private garden and a fenced area for your pets, making this a truly pet-friendly mountain chalet.
For guests staying at least 5 nights, a complimentary dinner (excluding drinks) is included, offered by Tiziano, head chef of Chalet Alpenrose in Cogolo. This dinner can be served either at the Maso Leprotto or in the elegant Sissi Stube at Hotel Chalet Alpenrose.
The dinner must be booked in advance, with a set menu and options to choose from.
Your additional friends are welcome; please contact Tiziano directly to coordinate details regarding the menu and rates. He is happy to personalize the experience.
Just 6 minutes by car, 3,6 miles, from Maso Leprotto is Cogolo, a small town with local life, it offers two supermarkets, post office, newsstand shop (some also in English), bakery, butcher, hairdresser, café, bar, restaurant, pizzeria and shops offering typical local products, sports equipment, and souvenirs.
Those who enjoy walking can reach the village on foot (about 50 minutes for less experienced walkers).
Maso Leprotto is located in a strategic foresty position, ideal for hikes and walks on well-marked, easily accessible trails. Perfect for mushroom foraging as well (only if you know which ones to pick).
During your walks, you can experience the outdoor up close and observe the wildlife of the Stilfser Joch National Park for an authentic, immersive natural experience. (Dogs must always be kept on a leash during forest walks.)
All services are included in the price: electricity, water, cooking gas, firewood, final cleaning, linens, parking, and outdoor grill.
Heating costs for gas are calculated separately and will be settled upon check-in.
