We had a very enjoyable stay at Villa Rea. Lovely pool, very spacious property with comfortable beds, reliable aircon throughout and well equipped kitchen. Good sized TV. We did find the Wi-Fi signal poor even for light personal use (weak downstairs and non existent upstairs) and regularly had to revert to mobile data on our phones, so something to be aware of. Excellent local restaurants and a lovely bakery within a 10 minute walk and a short drive into beautiful Rethymno which is well worth a visit. Excellent local beach, also 10 minute walk with reasonable sun lounger hire (8 for a pair with parasol) and good food and drink options.

The appliances were all new and in excellent condition. Air conditioning in bedrooms was brilliant as it was quiet and could keep it on all night. Just left alone to do as we please with no disruption or constant tourist communication.
