I dream of being back there. This luxurious house was beautiful and well thought out. Could not fault it in any way possible and we were very disappointed to leave. Loved it! Until next time..................

Gorgeous house, terrible location

Beautiful home, polite host, yet still a horrible experience because of the location and unsafe architectural elements. Even with GPS, it is incredibly difficult to find the exits off the main Cretan highway to get to all of the secondary roads leading to this house. We had to backtrack several times and were overall very frustrated by the time we found the parking area. The unsecured parking lot for this house is a good 5 minute uphill walk past several loud growling and barking dogs; just terrible. Once you get to the house, you have to be careful of the staircase leading up to the second floor. I stubbed my toe horribly and my daughter slipped off the landing at the bottom of the stairs and sprained her ankle, all within 5 minutes of our arrival. Also, there are no handrails making it quite scary coming down the stairs. Regarding the pool, I paid an extra 150 euros to have the pool heated. It never did warm up, so we didn’t want to use the pool at all. What a waste. I would not recommend this house for families with small children or older adults who simply don’t want to deal with the frustration of getting lost in a strange place. It’s a shame, really, because the host seemed nice and the home is new and clean. Still though, I would never consider staying there again… One more thing about ThinkVilla, they did not suggest any activities for my family like I expected them to. I received one email about an expensive dining experience and some general info about Crete

During your booking, the location of the villa was and still is clearly stated in our listing. Also you have selected an authentic Cretan home, so you can experience the lifestyle of locals. All Cretan homes features small roads to access and are located in villages and have this type of architecture which is indeed characteristic of the island and maintains the heritage and authenticity for guests to experience. Wunderbares Haus voller Annehmlichkeiten

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in diesem stilvoll und hochwertig eingerichteten Haus, das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Privater Pool, mehrere Terrassen mit Schatten- und Sonnenplätzen, gefüllter Kühlschrank bei Ankunft, bequeme Betten und vor allem alles neu, modern und blitzsauber! Alles wie auf den Bildern dargestellt, die Beleuchtung inszenierte die Gestaltung des Hauses ganz wunderbar. Ruhig gelegen, am Rande eines Dorfes, Zufahrt war allerdings mit einem etwas größeren PKW eine Herausforderung aufgrund der sehr engen Straßen, war aber machbar. Taverne nebenan. Die Agentur war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte auch trotz späterer Abendstunden einwandfrei und sehr gastfeundlich. Gerne wieder!

Magnifique villa en cœur de village

Tres tres belles prestations et équipements dans cette villa. Prendre son café sur la terrasse au soleil entre les chambres de l'étage et vous plongez immediatement dans la détente des vacances. La region de rethymnon étant centrale vous disposez d'une multitude de visites et activités accessible pour d'autan que vous soyez motorisé.
