The apartment is nice and in a good location but there are a couple of issues. First there is a very bad musty smell that hits you right when you walk in and never really goes away. As a host in Portugal myself I know that this is due to not running dehumidifiers when the apartment is vacant. Secondly, while the apartment does have air conditiioning, it should be noted that it is only in the living room and is insufficient to cool the bedrooms. We ended up with one couple sleeping on the couch because the bedroom was just too warm. It's a nice apartment in a very good location but I wouldn't stay there again. The owner/manager was a wonderful person to deal with and the communication was great.
