Stylish Country Cottage with solar panels in Knysna
Our home in Knysna is stylish, modern and eco friendly with solar panels so partially off the grid meaning no more irritating load shedding. Have the whole house to yourself; a perfect peaceful get away, ideal for couples but also plenty of space inside and out in the garden if you have a family. High ceilings and an elevated position make the house cool and airy even on the hottest days and is perfectly situated to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine on the veranda. Peaceful and quiet on the very safe and friendly Green Pastures estate with its own nature trail, it is still only a few minutes away from Knysna's popular restaurants & waterfront (4km away). The popular Simola Golf and Country Estate is only 2.6km away as is the indigenous forest for well marked hiking, trail running & mountain biking. The Farm (amazing breakfasts and carrot cake and kids pump track) and Muse (excellent food and very friendly local vibe) are both within short walking distances.
We offer free wifi, a Weber barbecue/braai and, as mentioned, solar panels so no load shedding.
The holiday home is fitted with 1 bedroom, a living area with a day bed which can be pulled out to make two single beds, a kitchen with a dining area and 1 bathroom.

I love to run off road, hike and mountain bike, anything that involves the outdoors excites me and I have raced in some amazing countries like India, Columbia, Oman and South Africa. My husband is also a runner and with our collie we are hardly indoors.
Why they chose this property
Having a home is South Africa, especially Green Pastures in Knynsa is perfect as we are straight into the forest and the weather is always good. The beach, waterfront and the famous Heads are also a short drive away.
What makes this property unique
With high ceilings and elevated on a hill even on the hottest days there is a breeze through the house. Peaceful, quiet and friendly neighbours make it a really special place to stay.
