Villa Sur L'ile by Villa Plus
Villa Sur L’ile is a charming villa and one of only a handful on the Miemart island on the outskirts of the small town of Roquemaure. It is perfect for outdoor living with large gardens, a private pool, and a lovely shaded al fresco dining area. Inside, the villa is light and airy yet decorated in true Provencal style. Located in the beautiful countryside only a few hundred metres from the river Rhone, this semi detached villa is just 20 minutes’ drive from the world-renowned town of Avignon. Conveniently, there’s also a welcoming restaurant just a couple of minutes’ drive away. Air conditioning/ heating in the first floor bedroom and WiFi are included.
In an idyllic setting, this charming Provencal villa offers the possibility to either relax or use as a base to discover the region. Within an hour’s drive, possibilities include the Pont du Gard, the attractive town of Aix en Provence as well as Arles and Nimes, which are bursting with Roman artefacts. Only slightly further afield are the beautiful seaside resorts including La Grande Motte and Saintes Maries de la Mer, capital of La Camargue, and the historical, cosmopolitan cities of Marseille and Montpellier. The list is endless! Closer to your villa, the small town of Roquemaure is just a 5 minute drive away, with shops, supermarkets and many restaurants.
