Casa Souto da Serra

Casa Souto da Serra, located in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, was designed to provide families, groups of friends, or colleagues with an experience that combines tranquility, comfort, contact with nature, and the authenticity of the countryside.
For this reason, the house was designed with attention to every detail, decorated with rural elements, in a contemporary rustic style, and with a focus on the local wildlife.

Space
Inside this 400 m2 house, on the lower floor, you will find a 50 m2 living room with air conditioning and a panoramic window overlooking the vineyard. A dining room with a table for 10 people. A fully equipped kitchenette. A guest WC.
On the upper floor there is a suite with a bathroom featuring a double shower cubicle with a massage tower, a walk-in closet, and a wood-burning stove. There are 4 generously sized bedrooms. Two bathrooms have shower cubicles. The textiles (towels and sheets) are of excellent quality and made in Portugal.
Outside there is a heated swimming pool, lawn, Mediterranean garden and barbecue.
Private parking. Orchard in the area surrounding the house, where our donkeys live for part of the year.

Guest access
The guest has exclusive access to the house, garden, orchard, and swimming pool.
Other things to note
The house, 10 minutes from the centre of Portalegre, provides a tranquil, comfortable and welcoming environment, where you can relax and contemplate nature, the mountains, the pool, the garden or the vineyard.
Those who wish to explore the Serra even further can choose from hiking, horseback riding, or adventure tourism, with tastings of the region's superb wines through local companies.
