*Beautiful Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and one of the cleanest and bluest lakes in the nation. In comparison to the other lakes in the region, Lake Arrowhead stands apart like a sparkling blue jewel.
*As private members of Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA), our guests may now have lake and trail access with no additional fee with our lake pass and when added to our friends and family list on our membership 48 hours before your arrival.

Great Getaway

Gorgeous view!!

My sisters and I stayed at Twin Bay Lodge for the first time. Janice and Larry were great hosts and very accommodating . The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed the gorgeous deck and views inside and outside. Thank you Janice and Larry you made our trip very memorable.

Yearly Fishing Trip

Awesome home with breathtaking views.,can see rock from house (short drive). Caught our fish limit and got a killer pontoon boat tour of Lake Arrowhead by the owner Larry! This place is worth every penny.

North Shore Lake Arrowhead

Very comfortable cabin for a few day visit in the mountains. Nice view of the lake, from both the loft master bedroom and living room. Easy stairs from the street to the front door. Good off the road parking area for 2-3 cars. Comfortable beds, and tastefully upgraded bathrooms. Owner quick to respond to questions.

Beautiful home

Janice and her husband Larry are one of the nicest, most accommodating individuals I have ever met. Janice was extremely responsive whenever I asked questions. Our family w 2 adult sons and a teenage daughter had an excellent time relaxing together at their beautiful home with a breath taking view. Best VRBO owners I have ever come across. Thank you both!

Beautiful View

This is a very nice property and 7 of us were very comfortable sharing the space. The beds were ALL very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. I didn't detract a star for this but I would recommend that the owner give some explicit directions on how to access the front of the house. GPS gave us directions to the street it was listed on but it is NOT the street that you have to be on to get to the front door and parking. That led to some confusion. One phone call with the owner and he was able to direct us to the right spot. We also could not seem to get the DVD player to work/couldn't find the remote. These were minor issues however and we REALLY enjoyed our time there and, seriously, the view was AMAZING.

We had an amazing birthday family trip and Janice was so welcoming and helpful. Also we enjoyed a wonderful boat trip with Larry. The cabin was in great shape.

Incredible views

Twin Bay lodge was an awesome place to spend the 4th of July weekend with the family. The cabin has an incredible view of the lake, and we were able to enjoy a spectacular fireworks show from the deck. Janice was a great host and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great experience!

Beautiful and romantic wedding anniversary!

We had visited the Twin Bay Lodge in March of 2018. We had the best time and loved it so much— we returned to celebrate our wedding anniversary this year! (June 26-29th) It’s the perfect place! Fantastic views from the loft bedroom and redwood deck. They truly look just like the picture. You almost don’t have to leave! But, the private dock rights, that don’t come with every rental, are fabulous!!! The lake is gorgeous, and pristine. You can go swimming easily off the side. We used Janice and Larry’s kayaks and life vests. There are 2 singles and they are so light and you can move easily all around the lake. Great kitchen. Very very clean. Everything’s there to easily to cook whatever you would want. No Kerig tho- bring coffee. Check in and out was super simple. Janice and Larry are so warm and welcoming, and easy to reach about any questions you have about their place. Now that we’ve visited a second time, we feel almost like we know them. We have loved both our stays at the Twin Bay Lodge — and we will absolutely be back again!

So Cozy!

The photos do not do this beautiful cabin justice! Everything was exactly as described. We celebrated my son's 8th birthday here and he said he couldn't have asked for a better cabin to stay in (even though he was slightly disappointed that there was no snow). The cabin was exactly what I was looking for in combining that cozy cabin feeling while having enough amenities such as a somewhat updated kitchen and internet/TV. Very comfortable beds and couch and the bathrooms were perfect. We had 5 adults and an 8 year old child and we were all more than comfortable here. We can't wait to come back in the summer and hopefully enjoy the dock and lake! Could not have asked for a more perfect place!

Elegant lodging and great access to lake activities

My family and I celebrated my dad's 70th birthday in Lake Arrowhead and spent 3 nights at Twin Bay Lodge. Among the places that we looked at, we thought this one was the best. The decor is very elegant with a wood paneling cabin-like interior and the wall-length windows have a beautiful view overlooking the lake and all of the surrounding trees. In addition, the outdoor space has a great grill, a table and chairs to dine, and chairs to lounge. It was also important to our group that we have access to the lake and activities, and through this booking we were able to use a canoe, kayak, and paddleboard. Do wear lifevests though (which are provided) because my dad and my brother fell into the water (the water is very calm, but sometimes boats pass by and create waves)! Janice was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions for her about where things were and she was also very professional and helped us take care of an oar that we damaged in that aforementioned incident. It meant a lot that she texted me that she was glad that we were safe. We also spent one morning laying out on reclining chairs at the beach club she belongs to. I always feel like family vacations can be hard to please everyone, but we all had a great time and I'm going to recommend this to my SoCal friends for a getaway, especially because Lake Arrowhead is so close to LA yet feels so removed.

The home was lovely, very clean, nicely furnished, well-appointed, everything worked properly, from the plumbing and air conditioning to the gas barbecue grill and cable TV. All great. It has incredible views of the lake, a lovely dock with a place to picnic and the home is the perfect size and space for two adult couples to have a great time! It's a great rental.

Amazing views, Peaceful and Relaxing

We loved our experience at this lodge. You know how sometimes the pictures on the website just don’t match the reality? Here, the real thing turned out to be more impressive than the pictures can capture. Let’s start with the view: the master bedroom is on the second floor, open plan, looking out across the living area to a huge picture window. In the morning, we’d look out through the trees to the sun rising over the mountains beyond the lake, and, once we’d put on our glasses, see the eagles, hawks and falcons soar near and far. The bed is very comfortable and relaxing—so once we finally got up, we continued immersing ourselves in the birds (including a very friendly woodpecker), the big pines and the lake views by taking breakfast out on the deck. We took advantage of the water rights at the lodge, and just as described, there is a big canoe, a kayak, life jackets and dock. We used the canoe out on the lake, and later read books in the sunshine later in the patio chairs on the dock. The fireplace was cozy and easy to use at night. Another great feature of the lodge was that it was conveniently close to town, so you can easily get firewood, wine or anything you need or forgot. Whenever we had concerns, about the access to the dock, or whether we’d used the flue in the fireplace correctly, Janice responded to our texts almost immediately. We found her to be friendly and available by email or text before and during our stay. Next time we go out to Lake Arrowhead for a relaxing time, we’ll start by checking the availability of this lodge.

Beautiful home, great stay!

I rented Janice's beautiful cabin with my husband and two friends. The house itself is lovely, with an open floor plan. The space is quite grand, with a two story fireplace, great for hanging out. Note: the master bedroom is open to the rest of the house on the second floor( i.e.: no door). The view across the lake is spectacular! There is a lovely deck where you can sit outside, or just enjoy the view from the living room. The house was well equipped with a large TV and music system. We had no problem cooking a meal if you want to eat in. The house is located on the North Shore, and was easy to get to...but I would recommend tire chains in the winter. A big bonus was the use of the owners dock, which was a 15 minute walk, or 5 minute drive from the house. We were able to use the canoe and kayak that were there, which REALLY enhanced our enjoyment of the lake. Janice was extremely helpful and available to answer all of my questions; she was also flexible with her check-out time. Would highly recommend this home!
