This stunning converted chapel is within a 5-minute walk into Abergele town centre. Part of the original Salem Chapel with exposed beams, solid wood staircase and a fantastic open-plan layout, it’s the perfect gateway to North Wales.. Ground Floor:

With two double bedrooms this holiday let promises a blissful night’s sleep for everyone. The main bathroom offers both a bath and shower option depending on your mood. The spacious and inviting open-plan living area downstairs features modern furnishings, where you can lounge on the L-shaped sofa, and enjoy your favourite movie on the Smart TV, staying cosy in front of the sleek electric fireplace. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, including an air fryer, and great coffee machine, where the owners have cleverly built a fold down solid wooden table to enjoy mealtimes together too without comprising on space. There is also a full-size foldaway dining table.
Mews Cottage is within close proximity to Gwrych Castle recently home to ’I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’, the livelier resort of Colwyn Bay, and the pretty old town of Conwy and its trendy marina. Nearby, is also the quieter town of Llandudno. You’re nicely located to visit Chester and Caernarfon, both of which have an enjoyable selection of shops, restaurants, museums, and castles to keep you entertained for a day. Lovers of the great outdoors will be delighted with the fabulous walks that you can enjoy right from the doorstep. The hills around Abergele seem to have been made for walkers. There are many paths for peaceful rambles to suit all ages and abilities amidst this stunning scenery.
Explore beyond the town itself to scenic wooded hillsides with many caves which are home to rare lesser horseshoe bats, among other wildlife. The best views of this lovely windswept coastline are from Cefn-yr-Ogof and the nearby Tower Hill with its 400-year-old watchtower. Other activities in the area include fishing, horse-riding, mountain biking, golf and beach combing. Abergele itself has a convenient and buzzing traditional high street, with excellent friendly family pubs, great multi-culinary eateries, and even an award-winning micro-pub. There is also a local railway station and trips along the scenic coast can be enjoyed by train. All of this just half a mile off the main A55 North Wales Expressway which also gives rapid access to the aforementioned locations. Beach 1 mile. Supermarket 3-minutes walk. Pub 200 yards.
