Part of the Alectrona Living Crete complex, this brand-new 140 sqm maisonette sits right at the edge of the hill in Upper Platanias. Just a short distance from the vibrant center of Platanias yet blissfully removed from the crowds and noise, it offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The breathtaking views, the gentle sound of the waves, and the spectacular colors of each sunset will recharge your spirit and calm your mind.

One of the highlights of your stay is the communal swimming pool, an ideal spot to unwind while soaking up the stunning Aegean Sea views. From both the spacious living room and the master bedroom, you’ll be treated to an insane, panoramic view of the sea—a view so captivating that it’s impossible to miss. This is a space where every detail invites relaxation and sheer enjoyment.

*The pool is shared among all guests of the complex. (5 apartments in total)

*There is a parking spot 1 minute from the house, but the roads in the upper village are quite narrow, so it’s best to rent a smaller car.
However, there is also convenient street parking available 250 meters away at the square of Pano Platanias (War Shelter Museum)

*Late check out until 15:00, cost : 50% of the nightly rate upon request, depending availability

For safety reasons, we are unable to accommodate infants or children under 12, as the pool has a uniform depth of 1.60 m and the layout of the property is not designed with young children in mind.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The apartment is situated in the peaceful neighborhood of Upper Platanias, the charming old village perched on a hill with a beautiful view of the area. Just a 10-minute walk down the hill, you`ll find the lively main street of Platanias, filled with restaurants, beach bars, clubs, and shops. You can also find plenty of adventures, like boat cruises, water sports, and excursions to explore the island.

The main square of Platanias is only 10 minutes from the apartment, while Chania’s city center is just 10 km away, or about a 25-minute drive. Getting to Chania is convenient with several options: buses run every 15 minutes from the main square in summer season, with less frequent service in the winter, taxis cost approximately 20 euros, or you can easily drive.

Platanias is one of the best locations in the region, ideally positioned to explore the stunning beaches and popular sites nearby. From this central spot, many of Crete’s finest attractions are just a short journey away, making it the perfect base for a memorable stay.
