PositivesMario and his family met us at the property to show us around. Lovely people but found it very difficult to communicate properly as it was through translation on his phone as they didn’t speak any English. The property was lovely quiet modern and clean. Water fruit and a small bottle of cava on arrival was nice. We had a lovely 10 days relaxing around the pool. The kitchen is pretty well equipped but could do with oven trays and oven dishes. The view to Torrox costa is beautiful. Negatives. The road leading up to the villa is treacherous it’s a single track road going up the mountain with no barriers or many passing places at all. We’ve stayed in quite a few villas all over with some not so great roads but this has to be the worst by far. It changed our holiday as we hated going up and down it. We didn’t go out in the evening because it’s that bad and not a single lamppost on the whole stretch of it. Some of the road is only as wide as a car. We would definitely stay at the villa again if it wasn’t for the road. No basic cooking condiments so had to buy everything ie salt pepper cooking oil etc. every property we’ve stayed in have had these things I really didn’t want to put anything negative because Mario is lovely and very willing to help. He was kind and left us fresh mangoes. The pool was only cleaned once in 10 days we were there and it got quite dirty at times but we tried to keep it clean ourselves. Normally someone would come every three days
