B3 Houseboat in the centre of Ghent, Captain's room
The original captain's room was converted, with respect for the original style and elements, into a modern living space with small kitchen, bedroom and wet room (shower/toilet). - This retired cargo ship has been completely converted into a luxurious place of peace and tranquility. Because we live on the water and want to share this with others, we designed 2 rooms with all possible utilities. Guests can stay in the original master bedroom or sailors room. Each guest room has its own toilet, shower, sitting area and bedroom. In the summer months the private terrace will provide you with a delightful stay. Each room forms a separate unit with its own entrance. Do you get sea sick easily? Don't worry! The water barely moves, the shore is near and our life jackets are always ready! To reach our ship you have to cross a walkway, after which the adventure continues along the corridor. This is a narrow walkway along the side of the ship. This is well lit and very safe, but unfortunately not suitable people who are less mobile. Ever woke up with quivering ducks and other aquatic animals ... gazing at herons and swans given bread ... and all this in the middle of the city? Does this all speak to you? Ship in for a wonderfully relaxing stay aboard B³.
