This private guesthouse is immaculate; the owner was a former Superyacht stewardess and takes pride in making sure it is spotless.
This park-like property is filled with majestic oaks, white-tailed deer, and other natural wildlife. A creek flows through the property and is often frequented by herons. On a cool, clear Hill Country night, you can gaze at the stars sitting by the fire pit. If you love animals, you will feel right at home; there are horses, dogs, and cats.
The guesthouse has a private entrance and carport, and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge/microwave/combination toaster/convection/air fryer oven. A fully stocked coffee bar, premium toiletries, and complimentary wine, crackers & cheese are a few of the owner's extra special touches. Kathryn was born and raised in Texas and Paul comes from Devon, England. We met in the Yachting industry, Paul was a megayacht captain and Kathryn was a stewardess. We have been married for 25 years and have 3 children, 2 in college and 1 in high school. We bought this home 18 years ago and fell in love with the property. And we love the area.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this park-like property. It's so close to Austin and feels like you are far away in the beautiful Hill Country. The neighborhood is called Heritage Oaks due to hundreds of beautiful Live Oak Trees. Our yard has many 50+year-old Live Oaks. The guesthouse shares the 5-acre property with us but feels very private. Guests can use the fire pit, and grill, wander around and visit our horses. We want you to feel at home and enjoy this beautiful property.
